It’s Part 2 of a makeshift series between the Philadelphia 76ers and New York Knicks, who meet up at Madison Square Garden for the 2nd time in just 48 hours. Sunday’s game was a scrappy one, finishing with the lowest point total in any NBA game this season; the 76ers secured the 79-73 victory. We can only hope things improve this time around, but whatever happens we should be able to get some excitement with this 76ers vs Knicks Same Game Parlay to make things a bit more interesting.

Knicks ML (-250)

Jalen Brunson to score 25+ points (-210)

Isaiah Hartenstein to record 10+ rebounds (+200)

Same Game Parlay odds: +401

New York Knicks ML over Philadelphia 76ers (-250)

It was a brutal showing on offense by both teams on Sunday, the 68 points scored between them in the first half was the lowest-scoring first half in an NBA game since March 2019. A bounce-back performance is expected, especially by the Knicks — who are in dire need of a victory to keep hold of the 4th seed in the East. Since Joel Embiid’s injury in late January, the 76ers have been able to win back-to-back games only twice. Without the big fella they are 10-20 SU this year in 30 games played.

On the other hand, New York gets OG Anunoby back from an elbow injury. Since coming over from the Raptors he is averaging 15.6 points per game in 14 outings for the Knicks while shooting 40% from downtown in home games this season. It’s a much-needed lift offensively for a Knicks team that’s struggled to put the ball into the basket over the past month or so. With revenge on their minds, I think the Knicks prove that Sunday was just a bad day at the office.

Jalen Brunson to score 25+ points (-210)

Just like everybody else, Jalen Brunson had a game to forget on Sunday scoring just 19 points on a miserable 27% shooting from the field and 11% from downtown. A player of his caliber surely cannot have 2 bad games in a row, right? He has scored at least 25 points in 4 of his last 5 games if we don’t count the Cleveland game where he went out in the first minute with an injury. The success of the Knicks largely depends on Brunson’s production and I think he will answer the call. Anunoby’s return should also help him and gives the Knicks another outside threat that the Sixers will have to account for, spread the floor a bit more for Brunson to do his thing. He is averaging 24.8 points per game in his last 4 against Philadelphia, clearing this line on 2 occasions.

Isaiah Hartenstein to record 10+ rebounds (+200)

Ever since Embiid has gone out of the lineup with his injury, teams have abused the 76ers on the glass. Over their last 3 games, they are allowing 57.3 rebounds per game — ranking dead last in the entire NBA. The Knicks just recorded 60 rebounds in Sunday’s game, 10 of which were grabbed by Hartenstein. That was his 2nd double-digit rebounding game in 5 meetings with the Sixers. He matches up really well against Mo Bamba, whom the Sixers are forced to start at center due to all the injuries they have at the moment. Hartenstein has about 20 pounds on Bamba, which should give him the strength advantage down low. I’m also expecting the Knicks’ big man to be active on the offensive glass, Philly has allowed an average of 13.3 offensive rebounds in its last 3 games, which is also the worst mark in the NBA.
