Pacers ML (+230)

Celtics -6.5 (-110)

Bucks vs Kings Over 237 (-112)

NBA parlay odds: +1092

Indiana Pacers ML over Oklahoma City Thunder (+230)

Both the Pacers and Thunder have been in solid form since the all-star break, but what jumps out to me here is the head-to-head record of the Pacers in this matchup. They’ve beaten the Thunder 6 times in the last 8 games, including the last time they played each other a year ago. Indy just held the Orlando Magic to 97 points, the lowest total by an opponent all year long. With a win here and a loss for Philadelphia against New York, the Pacers jump into 6th place in the Eastern Conference.

The Thunder have won 3 in a row and taken over the top spot in the West, but the Denver Nuggets are right behind them — a half-game back. They are a well-oiled machine…but not without their weaknesses. This season only 6 teams allow more rebounds per game; a tall team like Indiana could benefit from that. The run-and-gun Pacers have pulled off a few upsets already this season, so at these odds I think it’s worth backing them to do so again.

Boston Celtics -6.5 over Utah Jazz (-110)

Boston faced very little resistance in its 121-99 win over the Portland Trail Blazers last night. The Celtics will be playing on a back end of a back-to-back, but it shouldn’t be an issue against a mediocre Jazz side. Utah has gone just 1-5 SU in its last 6 games overall and has only 2 wins in its last 7 home games. Teams are just getting whatever they want against the Jazz on offense; over the last 7 games this team ranks 29th in defensive efficiency allowing 119.9 points per 100 possessions.

Boston has been dominant against Western Conference opponents lately, covering the spread 5 times in 6 such games. The Celtics are also 10-2 SU on the road in their last 12 and have covered the spread in 8 of their last 10 overall. We could see a couple of rotations made by head coach Joe Mazzulla, as this will be their 2nd game in 2 nights, Jrue Holiday and Kristaps Porzingis could come back after sitting out last night’s game. After seeing the Celtics win the first meeting of the season by 29 points, I think they can win this one by at least 7 on the road.

Milwaukee Bucks vs Sacramento Kings Over 237 (-112)

If scoring is your forte, then this is the right game for you. The Bucks and Kings have cashed on the over in 10 straight meetings, averaging a staggering 255 points between them in those games. It gets even better in games played at the Golden 1 Center; the over has cashed in the last 12 meetings in Sac Town.

Both teams have been in solid form scoring the ball of late. In their last 10 games the Bucks rank 8th in offensive rating (116.7), while the Kings are just 2 spots below them (116.2). Pace has been a weapon that the Bucks have relied on quite a lot this season — they average the 5th-highest number of possessions per game at 101.3. Sacramento is just outside the top at 100.2 per game. With Milwaukee scoring 120+ in 2 straight games and the Kings putting up 130 in 2 of their last 3, I think we’re in for a fun game. The first meeting saw 285 points scored in OT, so let’s hope for a similar scenario on Tuesday.
