NBA Playoffs Thursday-Friday mega parlay (+2140 odds): Green to drop threes

Trae Young NBA parlay

The first thing people like us do in the morning is log into our favorite sports books and look at the lines. I do it, you do it, we all do it. It’s just what we do. The first thing I noticed was that there are four NBA playoff games between Thursday and Friday night. What that means for me is obviously a NBA parlay. Not just any parlay, an NBA mega parlay. One pick from all four games feels like the right thing to do given the situation.

Don’t just read about this parlay though. You’d be crazy to do that! Our team has put together picks on the side and total of all four games on the NBA slate Thursday/Friday. You can also follow me on Twitter for any other bets I might throw out throughout the day.

Brook Lopez to score 15+ points (+124)

I’m not the biggest Brook Lopez guy but it’s hard to discount him in this matchup. The place to attack the Nets is at the center spot. It worked in Game 1 when Lopez went for 19 points on only 11 shots. What was great was he wasn’t relying on the three-ball. He actually took only one in the whole game. The world is expecting the Bucks to put up more of a fight tonight and if they do, it bodes well for Lopez. At +124, this isn’t a high bar for Lopez to get over since he’s done it in two of his last three games.

Reggie Jackson over 2.5 made threes (+114)

If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. That’s what they say and I think it applies to Reggie Jackson’s three-point prop. So far in the playoffs, he’s turned into a three-point specialist. In his last seven games, he’s taken at least five threes in all of them. In six of them, he took at least seven and even crossed into double digits twice. What’s most important is he is making these attempts. He’s hit at least three three-pointers in each of the last seven games. That includes the last game, in which he hit three in only 17 minutes before fouling out. I think he does it again tonight and keeps the NBA parlay alive.

Trae Young to score 30+ points (+150)

I don’t know what happened to Trae Young on Tuesday night but that was bad. The Hawks got swirlied by the 76ers and Young put up only 16 shots. I can honestly say, I don’t think that will happen again. Especially not in the next game which is in Atlanta. Not for nothing, but Young still was able to manage 21 points on those 16 shots. If he gets back into the 20s, where he has been for the entire playoffs, he should be able to get into the 30s. At +150, it’s definitely worth a shot. It feels perfect for the three hole in this NBA parlay.

Suns/Nuggets over 54.5 *1st quarter (-115)

I don’t expect this one to go as high as ten points over this number but I think it gets over comfortably. This will be the Nuggets’ first home game of the series which is important. They have dropped a 30-burger in each of their three home playoff games so far. The Nuggets held up scoring in Game 2, especially early, which is why the game had an ugly scoring first half. The Suns look like they could hit a shot from anywhere right now so if the Nuggets control the tempo early, this one should approach the 60s in the opening frame.
