We have a 10-game slate in the NBA on Saturday, highlighted by a double-header on ESPN. It begins with the Golden State Warriors visiting the Houston Rockets prior to this showdown between the Denver Nuggets Los Angeles Clippers. Let’s take a look at the best same game parlay option for Nuggets-Clippers, and be sure to also check out our full game preview for picks on the side and total.

Nuggets ML (+190)

Nikola Jokic to score 30+ points (+200)

Reggie Jackson to record 4+ assists (-148)

Parlay odds: +1177

Part of the value in same game parlays, of course, is that all of its components can be correlated if you so choose. That is only part of the plan here, as a big night for Nikola Jokic would obviously go a long way toward a Denver upset victory. At the same time, plays that aren’t correlated drive up the overall payout of the parlay. That is the case with tipping Reggie Jackson to dish out a fair amount of assists. But even if Jackson does that, there is no reason why the Nuggets can’t take care of business.

Nuggets ML (+190)

The Nuggets lost guard Jamal Murray for the season last month, but they have not felt sorry for themselves. Instead, they continue to play great basketball. Since Murray went down, forward Michael Porter Jr. has been playing at an all-star level; the basket is looking as big as the ocean to him right now. Crafty guard Facundo Campazzo has been given more playing time and is rising to the occasion. Campazzo is an NBA rookie but he is a very experienced player in general. Meanwhile, the Clippers are without superstar Kawhi Leonard in addition to Serge Ibaka and Patrick Beverley. Paul George can do a lot on his own…but he can’t do everything.

Nikola Jokic to score 30+ points (+200)

The Clippers are very good at defending the three-point line, but they are in the middle of the pack in the NBA when it comes to protecting the paint. Jokic is the MVP favorite for a season, and he should make another case for himself on Saturday. The 26-year-old Serb has shot at least 60 percent from the floor in three straight games and he scored 32 points during a 114-112 win over New Orleans on Wednesday.

Reggie Jackson to record 4+ assists (-148)

The Nuggets are not exactly a prolific defensive team and one statistic in which it really struggles is the number of opponents’ assists allowed. Denver is letting the opposition assist on 65.2 percent of its made baskets (fourth most in the association). On Thursday the Raptors assisted on 27 of 40 field goals. Jackson has delivered at least four assists in six consecutive contests and in nine of the last 10 games. In this 10-game stretch he has twice recorded seven dimes.
