Following a short four-game slate in the NBA on Thursday, we have 11 games on Friday’s menu. It features a double-header on ESPN, beginning with the Los Angeles Clippers’ visit to the Philadelphia 76ers prior to this showdown between the New York Knicks and Dallas Mavericks. Both contests are getting the same game parlay treatment they deserve. Let’s take a look at the best such option for New York vs. Dallas, and be sure to check out our full game preview for picks on the side and total.

Knicks +5.5 (-110)

Under 210.5 (-110)

Julius Randle Over 24.5 points (-102)

Josh Richardson Over 2.5 assists (-152)

Parlay odds: +1186

Part of the value in same game parlays, of course, is that all of its components can be correlated if you so choose. That is part of the plan here, as the under works nicely with a New York cover. After all, the Knicks like playing low-scoring games. Moreover, another productive performance by Julius Randle would obviously go a long way toward his team’s chances of keeping it close. At the same time, plays that aren’t correlated drive up the overall payout of the parlay. That is the case with picking Josh Richardson to dish out more than a couple of assists, and Randle’s points don’t exactly gel with an under play. Still, there is no reason why the Knicks can’t cover in a low-scoring affair even if those two player props are winners.

Knicks +5.5 (-110)

Following a slow stretch, the Knicks have won four in a row to put a little space between themselves and the .500 mark. They have been one of the most improved teams in the NBA this season. As a result, they have been great against the number—especially lately. New York has covered seven in a row. Now the Knicks face a Dallas team that is coming off a win over Memphis on Wednesday, when Luka Doncic hit a ridiculous, off-balance three-pointer at the buzzer.

Under 210.5 (-110)

New York really challenges opponents defensively and gets a lot of opponents off their game. Head coach Tom Thibodeau has instilled in his team a strong defensive mentality and since they are winning with it, it has stuck. Another low-scoring contest should be expected on Friday. Both teams are excellent at defending the three-point line in addition to being stout in the paint. The Knicks are superior in both departments, but the Mavericks are solid in each one. The Knicks are 11-18 O/U on the road with an average point total of 206 ppg.

Julius Randle Over 24.5 points (-102)

Randle is leading his team in scoring, rebounding, and assists while shooting the ball very effectively. We only care about scoring for this particular prop, but it is still worth mentioning just how good his all-around game is. The former Kentucky standout has scored at least 26 points in three consecutive contests—including 34 and 32 in the past two. With RJ Barrett ice cold of late, Randle will once again shoulder the load.

Josh Richardson Over 2.5 assists (-152)

If there is one thing the Knicks yield on defense, it’s assists. They force opponents into half-court sets and the only real way to solve New York on that end of the floor is with efficient ball movement. New York is allowing the 11th-most assists per field goal made at 61 percent. Richardson has recorded at least three assists in four of the last five games and he can certainly do the same on Friday. And with Doncic scoring the basketball like he is these days, it’s not that hard to rack up dimes.
