The Pickswise NBA experts have cashed parlays on consecutive days, first a +615 play on Sunday and then a +596 winner on Monday. Why not take our talents to even greater heights and ring up an even bigger success with a Wednesday mega parlay? We have plenty to work with – a 9-game slate that is headlined by a doubleheader on ESPN. It begins with Dallas hosting Atlanta before Denver entertains Minnesota.

Here is a look at Wednesday’s mega parlay.

Knicks -6 (-110)

Rockets ML (+125)

Lakers ML (+125)

Parlay odds: +866

For this parlay we are going with a favorite against an alternate spread, an underdog against the spread and an under play. Let’s break down each of the 3 legs.

New York Knicks -6 over Washington Wizards (-110)

The Knicks actually lost a game on Monday — but it was in overtime, on the road and was the second leg of a back-to-back situation. They had previously won 3 in a row and are still 7-2 SU in their last 9 overall, with their only home setback during this stretch coming against Milwaukee. New York hasn’t lost to anyone else inside Madison Square Garden since Christmas Day. Moreover, the Knicks are 3-0 SU in the last 3 head-to-head meetings with the Wizards, 2-0 ATS in the last 2 and just prevailed in Washington 112-108 this past Friday. Julius Randle went for 23 points and 16 rebounds in that contest and he is averaging 26.3 ppg and 14.8 rpg in January. The Wizards are still without Bradley Beal, so I expect them to lose comfortably on Wednesday night.

Houston Rockets ML over Charlotte Hornets (+125)

Well, someone has to win! These are the worst teams in the NBA, with Houston coming in at 10-34 and Charlotte just barely ahead at 11-34. This game isn’t quite as important in the Victor Wembanyama sweepstakes as it would have been before the lottery format changed, as each of the 3 worst teams now have a 14% chance of winning. But with Detroit (12-35) and San Antonio (13-31) lurking, both the Rockets and Hornets have incentive to lose and stay in the bottom 3. That’s just one reason why I’ll play the team that is at home and also priced well into plus money. Additionally, Charlotte is missing Gordon Hayward and Kelly Oubre Jr. and Cody Martin is questionable. As for Houston, 5 different guys have led the team in scoring over the past 5 games and that kind of depth should be too good for the visitors.

Los Angeles Lakers ML over Sacramento Kings (+125)

It’s not like the Lakers are in the business of moral victories, but for whatever it’s worth they are playing better than their 20-24 record suggests. They are 6-3 SU in their last 9 overall and so far on their current home stand they are 1-2 with losses only to Dallas in overtime and to Philadelphia by a single point. Here are LeBron James’ last 7 games: 47 points, 10 rebounds, 9 assists; 43 points, 11 rebounds; 25 points, 10 assists; 37 points; 24 points, 16 rebounds, 9 assists; 35 points, 10 assists; 48 points. Los Angeles just recently prevailed in Sacramento by a 136-134 decision earlier this month. The Kings have won 4 in a row since then, but the competition has been terrible. Give me the Lakers at plus money.
