NBA Wednesday same game parlay (+780 odds): Denver Nuggets vs Phoenix Suns

Nikola Jokic Nuggets vs Suns

ESPN is giving us the Denver Nuggets and Phoenix Suns tonight at 10:00 pm ET and I think we should drop a same game parlay on it. Why not? We don’t have to get crazy and hit them for an entire unit or anything. Just a little 1 unit get the juices flowing. I can’t think of 1 reason not to do this. It just feels right.

Let’s take a look at the best options for this showdown and don’t forget to check out our full game previews for picks on the sides and totals of all the NBA games tonight. As always, follow me on Twitter just in case there are more NBA player props to bet.

Nikola Jokic to record 2+ made threes (+140)

Devin Booker to record 3+ made threes (+132)

Aaron Gordon to record 2+ assists (-168)

Parlay odds: +780

Nikola Jokic to record 2+ made threes (+140)

This isn’t that crazy. We only need one of the best players in the world to drain two 3-pointers. That’s it. The issue is Jokic (and the Nuggets as a whole) is all over the map with his 3-point attempts. There were games last season when he attempted 10+ and then other in which he never tried even one. Still, we’re talking about Jokic here and in the first meeting between these teams last season he took 5 deep attempts and drained 3 of them. The key here is that he only has to hit 2. That’s it. 1…2. It’s math, people. Not even. It’s counting. I think he splashes 2 tonight.

Devin Booker to record 3+ made threes (+132)

Let’s stick with 3-point attempts until we know exactly what is happening with the rotations. One thing we do know right now as we speak, Devin Booker can shoot. In the first meeting between these 2 teams last season, Booker took 7 threes and hit 3 of them. In the playoffs against the Nuggets last season he took at least 7 tries from downtown in 3 of the 4 games. All we can do in this world is pay taxes and chase volume. I think Booker will take at least 7 threes tonight in a loose, free-flowing game. If he does that, why won’t he hit at least 3 of them?

Aaron Gordon to record 2+ assists (-168)

Now we just need a little throw in to make this one special and I think the Gordon assist number is good. He should get at least 2 assists just on catch and shoot plays. He could get it with Michael Porter Jr. alone. What would be good for us is if Jokic let one fly on a pass from Gordon. One can certainly dream. Still, he hit this number in every preseason game although he didn’t go higher than 2. I would expect him to play more minutes than he did in the preseason so there’s that. Any way you look at it, we have a parlay here that doesn’t ask anyone to do anything special. That’s what we need.
