Hurricanes -1.5 (+116)

Capitals -1.5 (-115)

Golden Knights -1.5 (+104)

Parlay odds: +723

Let’s break it down one leg at a time.

Carolina Hurricanes -1.5 (+116) over Chicago Blackhawks

The Chicago Blackhawks are an absolute disaster on and off the ice. On the ice they are winless, have only 2 points, and are above just the Arizona Coyotes in the standings.  Not to mention they are 28th in goals scored and dead last in goals against.

The Hurricanes are the complete opposite of the Blackhawks. They are unbeaten, behind the Washington Capitals in the Metropolitan Division only due to the number of games played, rank 9th in goals and 1st in goals against. It also helps that their top players, Andrei Svechnikov and Sebastian Aho, are leading by example and are 1-2 in points and goals on the team. The advanced stats love the Hurricanes as well, as they rank 2nd in expected goals per 60 and 1st in shots per 60. The Hurricanes should win this one with relative ease.

Washington Capitals -1.5 (-115) over Arizona Coyotes

The Washington Capitals just keep racking up points this season. At 4-0-3 they remain unbeaten in regulation and look to keep it that way for their 6th home game of the campaign. On the other side, Arizona is one of the worst clubs in hockey. The Coyotes come into this game with a putrid record of 0-6-1 and things won’t get any easier going up against Washington on the road. Arizona is on the second half of a back-to-back after losing to the Tampa Bay Lightning 5-1 last night. With short rest, a bad lineup and worse goaltending, this one figures to be tough for the Coyotes.

Vegas Golden Knights -1.5 (+104) over Anaheim Ducks

After dropping 4 straight games, the Vegas Golden Knights seem to be getting back on track. Vegas has won back-to-back road games against the Avalanche and Stars, and they return home for a Friday night matchup against the Ducks. They will be eager to pick up a win in front of their home fans, as they have lost 3 straight games at T-Mobile Arena. Their last home win came on opening night against the Kraken.

Anaheim is on the second half of a back-to-back, while Vegas had a day off in between games. That gives the home team the advantage when it comes to fresh legs. The Golden Knights are playing very well defensively, allowing just 5 total goals over their last 3 games. Anaheim was the lowest-scoring team in the league last season, and while things have been a bit better so far this season, it’s not like they have an extremely potent offense.  The Knights should take care of business at home.
