Although I prefer sports that involve hitting people, I still love capping MLB, soccer, tennis, and even some esports. Living in Florida has its perks like year-round sports of any kind. As we begin to approach the weekend, the action on the ice is beginning to pick up. We have a huge 13-game slate of games tonight. That means an abundance of opportunities, but it also means a lot of matchups to break down. However, that’s what we’re here for. We’ve checked out each of the games to find our favorite three spots to piece together for an incredible payout. There’s games from the first puck drop to the last included, so let’s get into it.

Along with our NHL mega parlay, be sure to check out all of our NHL picks for today’s action.

Florida Panthers -1.5 (-105) over Montreal Canadiens

Starting things off is what should be quite a mismatch, at least on paper. Despite the Panthers’ record not quite demonstrating it, they still have some of the best talent in the NHL. Meanwhile, the Canadiens are at the bottom of the same Atlanta Division. Florida is coming off a rather devastating loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs, in which the Panthers held the lead into the 3rd period before falling in overtime. However, this is a great bounce-back spot for them.

The Canadiens are riding high after their recent upset over the Winnipeg Jets, but consistency has not been their strong suit. The Panthers should also come into this game with plenty of confidence given the result against Montreal earlier this season. These teams met less than 3 weeks ago, and Florida cruised to a 7-2 victory. We may not see another 5-goal win tonight, but another multi-goal win should still be in store.

Washington Capitals -1.5 (+135) over Arizona Coyotes

We’re backing another road team on the puck line, and getting great plus-money on this play. Much like the Canadiens, the Coyotes are likely feeling great after their recent upset over the Detroit Red Wings. However, the Wings have looked terrible recently, and the Caps have been fantastic on the road. They’ve won 8 of their last 9 games outside of the nation’s capital, including a 4-0 shutout win over the New York Rangers.

Despite the Coyotes winning their most recent game, they’re still an abysmal 1-9-0 in their last 10. For those into narratives, Washington’s Alex Ovechkin had a rather monumental night against Arizona earlier in the season. His goal in that matchup set the record for the most scored with a single team. It’s likely he can add to his quest to break Wayne Gretzky’s all-time record as the Coyotes are allowing the 7th-most goals per game. With Nicklas Backstrom and Tom Wilson now back healthy, Washington should take full advantage of that weakness.

Vegas Golden Knights -1.5 (+145) over Detroit Red Wings

Wrapping things up is a game that involves the struggling Red Wings. They’re coming off that bad loss to the Coyotes, and looked even worse in their games prior. They fell behind 5-0 and lost 6-3 to the Colorado Avalanche on Monday, and lost at home to a terrible Columbus Blue Jackets team before that. Now they’ll have to face a Golden Knights team looking to retake their throne as the best team in the Western Conference.

They’ve been off since Monday, giving them time to rest after a bad performance against the Dallas Stars. However, the Stars are one of the best defensive teams in the NHL, while the Wings have allowed the 4th-most goals per game over the last month. Therefore, we’re expecting a similar result from these teams last met, which was a 4-1 Golden Knights win. That game was in Detroit, so with tonight being in Vegas, we’ll roll the dice on the home team.
