After 2 nationally televised games last night, we’re back in full swing with a huge 12-game slate in the NHL. It truly is 2 of the best weeks of the season with it being the home stretch to the playoffs. Each team has 13 games or less remaining, so each one means that much more. There’s no shortage of crucial games tonight, either. We have divisional rivalries with the Maple Leafs vs Panthers and Rangers vs Hurricanes, and that’s just in the early window of games. We’ve targeted 3 spots where we feel there is great value to provide you with an incredible payout on such a great night of hockey action. Along with our NHL mega parlay, be sure to check out all of our NHL picks for tonight’s 12 matchups.

St. Louis Blues ML over Detroit Red Wings (+115)

We’re going to drop the proverbial puck for our NHL mega parlay with a rematch of just 2 nights ago. These may not be the teams everyone is gearing up to watch tonight, but they can still help us cash in big. Neither of them will be in the postseason, but they had quite a hard-fought contest on Tuesday night.

The Wings snuck away with a 3-2 win in a shootout, but the Blues have impressed the past few games.  That’s primarily due to goaltender Jordan Binnington not being in net. He’s had a rough season, and his injury has proven to in fact help the team. The 22-year-old Joel Hofer is now between the pipes and allowed just 2 goals across 77 shots in his first 2 starts. The youngster went viral with a video of his impressive warm-up routine, and it’s clearly working for him. Despite the loss to Detroit, he completely shut out the Winnipeg Jets in a 3-0 win the game prior. He also led the Blues to a 5-2 road win over the Washington Capitals, and we expect him to get some revenge on the Red Wings tonight.

New York Rangers ML over Carolina Hurricanes (+125)

Another team we expect to get revenge tonight is the New York Rangers. Unlike the Blues vs Red Wings game, this is a matchup between 2 playoff-caliber squads. There is a similarity in the fact that these teams also just faced off on Tuesday night. The Hurricanes snuck away with a win by a final score of 3-2. However, the Rangers struck first in that game and even held a 2-1 lead in the 2nd period. We’re getting even more value with them on the road tonight, but they’ve proven they can handle Carolina.

New York won each of the 2 games between these division rivals prior to Tuesday night, and in convincing fashion. The first was a 5-3 victory, which they followed up by going to Carolina and winning 6-2 just last month. Now, the Hurricanes are dealing with Andrei Svechnikov being placed on the long-term injured reserve. On the flip side, the skating talent for the Rangers has only increased since adding future Hall-of-Famer Patrick Kane. New York is one of the few teams that can keep pace with Carolina defensively thanks to goaltender Igor Shesterkin. With the ‘Canes now a bit under-manned, the Rangers can grab their revenge as well.

Dallas Stars -1.5 over Pittsburgh Penguins (+160)

We don’t have a rematch for our 3rd and final leg, but it is focusing on a team that was recently in action. The Penguins were just in Colorado to take on the defending Stanley Cup champion Avalanche on TNT last night. That’s both a physically and emotionally exhausting matchup. Now, they have to face off against the team that is leading the Avs’ division — the Stars. Dallas has been shining brightest atop that division for nearly the entire season.

Despite a recent loss to the Seattle Kraken, we’re still confident they can take care of business on home ice. Their offense has looked crisp when in Dallas and allowing too many goals is what may keep the Pens out of the postseason. The Stars still have plenty to play for, as they need to hold off the Wild and Avs in the division, and they still have a shot at the #1 overall seed in the Western Conference. With Pittsburgh on the 2nd night of a road back-to-back, we expect a comfortable win for Dallas on home ice.
