Tampa Bay Lightning 3-way ML (+120) over Colorado Avalanche

We’re getting things started with one of those Florida teams, who recently lost to the other one in fact. Worse yet, the Lightning blew a 3-1 lead in the 1st period Tuesday night to a weak San Jose Sharks team. There are no excuses for that, but we’re also not going to judge Tampa off of 1 bad game. They have an opportunity to get some revenge on the Avalanche, as this was the Stanley Cup Finals matchup last season.

This will be the first meeting between the 2 since then, and the Lightning have a great advantage at home. Despite their recent losses, they’re still the highest-scoring team on home ice, averaging 4.04 goals per game in Amalie Arena. The Avs’ goaltending has been strong, but their offense away from Colorado hasn’t kept up. The defending champs are in the bottom 10 in terms of goals per game on the road. Don’t expect a blowout but look for Lightning goalie Andrei Vasilevskiy to get his revenge.

Don’t miss out on our NHL player props for tonight’s action!

Calgary Flames 3-way ML (+105) over Detroit Red Wings

Next up in our NHL mega parlay, we have the Flames. Ironically enough, it’s also Tkachuk’s former team. They haven’t been as strong since he and Johnny Gaudreau left town, but they still have great talent in Elias Lindholm, Nazem Kadri and Jonathan Huberdeau. They’re coming off a tough loss to the New York Rangers in overtime, but that’s certainly nothing to be embarrassed about.

Meanwhile, the Red Wings were in fact embarrassed 5-2 on their home ice on Tuesday night. Detroit strengthened their team this season by signing goaltender Vile Husso in the offseason. However, that was not their issue against Calgary last year. The Flames torched them in 2 shutout victories. They still have goaltender Jacob Markstrom between the pipes, so he should feel extremely confident tonight. We do too, and we’ll back the Flames to catch some heat and cut down the Wings.

Florida Panthers -1.5 (+105) over San Jose Sharks

Wrapping up this NHL mega parlay we’ve got the Panthers covering the puck line against the Sharks. First off, the Panthers absolutely smashed the Lightning 7-1 after the all-star break. Last year’s Presidents’ Trophy winners are trying to find a groove, led by newcomer Matthew Tkachuk, who also won the All-Star MVP. His 71 points are the 5th-most in the NHL and now he and the Panthers get to face the awful goaltending of the Sharks.

We mentioned that San Jose recently beat Tampa, but they’re still not a strong team overall. They’ve allowed the 4th-most goals per game throughout the season and the 2nd-most in 2023. Florida fans should also breathe a sigh of relief, as Aleksander Barkov looks like he will be just fine after exiting the last game early from a blocked shot injury. The Sharks also have the fact that Timo Meier will likely be leaving soon looming over their heads. Regardless, the Panthers are a far deeper team that can put it on San Jose.
