It’s the middle of the week, which means it’s time to cash a play to cover our bets through the weekend. That’s exactly what we have set up for you with this mega parlay. There is a solid 7-game slate of NHL action tonight to choose from, as well. We have a mix of road and home teams for our 3 favorite plays with some of the marquee names in the league. Let’s start in the east and finish up with a play in Western Canada.

Be sure to check out our NHL picks for today’s action, but for now let’s dive into our NHL mega parlay.

Buffalo Sabres 3-way ML (+110) over Columbus Blue Jackets

The first of our 3 plays may not be an Eastern Conference Finals preview, but it should still be an exciting game. That’s because we are expecting a high-scoring matchup that ultimately favors the Sabres. Firstly, the Blue Jackets have been at the bottom of the Metro Division and the entire Eastern Conference virtually the entire season. Now their struggling team has to enter this game after having just been in Pittsburgh to take on the Penguins last night. Their goaltending was bad enough, and that only amplifies their issues. Sadly, it can’t get much worse, either.

The Jackets are allowing the 2nd-most goals per game, better than only the Anaheim Ducks — who have the NHL’s worst record. There is also no home-ice advantage tonight. Columbus is allowing 3.94 goals per game in its own arena. All of that spells disaster when facing this Sabres offense. Buffalo may not have the most impressive record, but it can put up goals in bunches. The Sabres averaging the 3rd-most goals per game this season, behind only division leaders in the Boston Bruins and Dallas Stars. With the discrepancy of poor goaltending and great goal-scoring, the Sabres should win this one without needing overtime.

Minnesota Wild 3-way ML (+190) over Calgary Flames

We’re going to stick with the same betting market and with another road team. This game should be much more evenly priced given how inconsistent the Flames have been this season. They are officially in the bottom half of the Pacific Division despite being able to narrowly beat a weak Arizona Coyotes team at home. However, it was less than a week ago that they were also defeated by the Montreal Canadiens on home ice. They were held to just 1 goal, which speaks to the Flames’ struggles.

It’s clear that they miss Johnny Gaudreau and Matthew Tkachuk from last season, as they are in the bottom 10 in terms of goals per game and powerplay percentage. That’s not a recipe for success against a Wild team that has excelled on the road. They have the absolute best goaltending outside of Minnesota, allowing just 2.1 goals per game. That comes even after a 6-5 game over the Stars. They had a 5-1 lead in that game and although letting it get close, defeating Dallas this season is impressive. The Flames are not nearly as hot as their name suggests, and Kirill Kaprizov and company can prove that tonight.

Edmonton Oilers -1.5 (-120) over Arizona Coyotes

Let’s wrap up the night with 1 of the last games on the board. The Oilers are continuing their 4-game home stand as they look to bounce back from a close, 1-goal loss to the Washington Capitals. They should be able to do just that against the aforementioned weak Coyotes team. Arizona is largely in the same conversation with the Ducks as the worst team in the NHL. The Coyotes’ offseason was spent trying to make sure they had an arena to play in rather than making free agent additions.

Therefore it’s no surprise that they are tied for the 4th-lowest scoring team in the NHL while just outside the bottom 10 in terms of goals allowed per game. The Oilers certainly have the firepower in Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl to push them into that bottom tier. For perspective of how dominant those 2 are, the Coyotes have scored 61 goals the entire season while McDavid and Draisaitl have combined for 90 points by themselves. Even without Evander Kane by their side, they are still the top 2 point-scorers in the NHL and should pad their stats even more against Arizona.

Wednesday’s NHL mega parlay (12/7)

Sabres 3-way ML (+110)

Wild 3-way ML (+190)

Oilers -1.5 (-120)

Parlay odds: +1016
