Reigning English Premier League champions Manchester City are making their title defense look like a piece of cake and can stretch their lead at the top of the EPL standings to 14 points on Saturday night.

To do that, Pep Guardiola’s runaway leaders need to win at Southampton, though Liverpool and Chelsea get opportunities to cut City’s advantage when they play on Sunday.

We’ve got a bet from St. Mary’s Stadium for Southampton vs City as part of a 4-game parlay to hopefully see you successfully through Saturday’s slate. It pays at +1342 odds with DraftKings.

Wolves ML (+155)

West Ham win or tie double chance (-105)

Leeds vs Newcastle over 2.5 goals (-145)

Manchester City ML and over 2.5 goals (-140)

Parlay odds: +1342

Wolves ML (+155) over Brentford, 10:00 am ET

Take a bow Bruno Lage, Wolves’ head coach who has turned the club’s fortunes around after a poor start.

Lage came in at the start of the season and went 1-4 through his first 5 games. The pressure was on – but he and his players have reacted superbly.

Now they are flying with just 3 defeats in 15 and Lage’s defense is as mean as they come with 6 shutouts in their last 9 games. Brentford are going backwards, Wolves are on the up; it all points to a road win in London for Lage’s men.

West Ham win or tie double chance (-105) over Manchester United, 10:00 am ET

Make no mistake, West Ham can win this match. They have the quality and momentum to do so. But a little bit of caution never hurts and as part of our parlay I’m happy to have the double chance on the Hammers either winning or tying.

West Ham have won a half in 13 of their 22 EPL games played to this point, which of course is a good indicator. But a good indicator is Manchester United’s form – which isn’t good. They managed to come away with a 3-1 victory over Brentford on Wednesday, but they were thoroughly bested in the first half and things are still not looking good for the Red Devils. They are being outplayed too often and still trail the Hammers in the standings. Old Trafford used to be a fortress for opposition teams but those days are long gone.

Leeds vs Newcastle over 2.5 goals (-145), 10:00 am ET

Leeds, the undisputed entertainers of the EPL, are at it again. Back-to-back wins, 6 goals scored, 3 conceded — it’s never dull watching Leeds.

Their last 6 games have produced a whopping 30 goals and their matches are going at 3.15 goals a game this season. Which, by a happy coincidence, is a number matched by Newcastle, who need to start winning games and will see this as a chance. Expect plenty of goals in this one.

Manchester City ML and over 2.5 goals (-140) over Southampton, 12:30 pm ET

Man City are 12-0 in the Premier League and about as hot as a team can be. Last week they toyed with major rival Chelsea and if they can make the European champions look like a non-league side, then they can certainly do something similar to Southampton.

City have won 8 of their last 10 games against the Saints, who will be feeling it after last week’s emphatic 3-1 loss at Wolverhampton. They’d been on a solid run before that but they are 12th in the standings, and 32 points behind City.

Ralph Hasenhuttl, Saints’ head coach, likes his teams to be positive so expect entertainment and goals with City scoring most of them.
