Avalanche -1.5 (+160)

Wild ML (+135)

Lightning -1.5 (-111)

Parlay Odds +1142

Let’s break down each of the legs one by one.

Colorado Avalanche -1.5 over the Pittsburgh Penguins (+160)

This is a huge heavyweight matchup, and the first time these teams have played in more than two years. There is an element of the unknown, however, with the return of Nathan MacKinnon to the lineup, the Colorado Avalanche will have a lot of energy tonight. The Avs are currently on a two-game win streak and are in first place in the entire league. This will be a good measuring stick game for them. While they won’t need to play the Pittsburgh Penguins or a team in the East until the finals (if they make it that. far), the Penguins are still a great team that will require the Avs’ best efforts. Colorado currently has a +72 goal differential, while the Penguins only have a +46 goal differential. The Avs have also scored 29 more goals. Through 68 games, Colorado has proven to be the better offensive and defensive team, and that should be the case here tonight. In three of Colorado’s last five wins, it has covered the spread. Take the Avs on the puck line.

Minnesota Wild ML over the Carolina Hurricanes (+135)

The Minnesota Wild have been one of the hottest teams in the league over the last two weeks. They have gone 7-1-2 in their last 10 games, and they’ve been heating up just at the right time. During that stretch, they are averaging three goals and only allowing two goals. Since acquiring Marc-Andre Fleury, the Wild have combined for a .932 SVP. While the Carolina Hurricanes are a great team, they’ve won just four of their last 10 games. This is also another good measuring stick game between two playoff teams. Expect this one to be fast-paced with a lot of physicality, which should favor the Wild. They are one of the strongest teams in the league, and they have a shutdown line capable of defending Sebastian Aho and company. Take Minnesota on the money line.

Tampa Bay Lightning -1.5 over the Montreal Canadiens (-111)

In one of the biggest mismatches of the night, the Tampa Bay Lightning will be taking on the Montreal Canadiens. Entering tonight, the Lightning are on a four-game winning streak and the Canadiens are on a three-game losing streak. The Habs are arguably the worst team in the league right now, allowing the second-most goals per game with 3.76 and scoring the fewest goals per game with just 2.51. With how tight the Atlantic Division is, the Lightning need these two points for the standings. The Habs are expected to start Jake Allen who is posting a 7-19-4 record with a 3.19 GAA and .907 SVP. If the Lightning can score on him early, he’s known to get flustered. Don’t overthink this one. Take Tampa Bay on the puck line.
