The English Premier League takes a break this week, but that does not mean fans will miss out as many of the top teams will be in action in the 4th round of the FA Cup. This is a knockout competition where the match winner progresses until 2 teams play in the final in May. Liverpool beat Chelsea in last year’s showdown. But it is not just about the big teams. Those who play outside the Premier League will be looking to cause a big shock, so there should be lots of excitement.

Anyway, there are plenty of matches on Saturday and we have come up with a 4-game parlay that will hopefully see you through a morning and afternoon of matchups, that pays at huge +1617 odds with FanDuel Sportsbook.

Fulham ML over Sunderland (-240), 10:00 am ET

Fulham has been one of the surprise teams in the Premier League this season after it gained promotion from the Championship last year. The Cottagers lost to Tottenham on Monday, but they are 7th in the standings and remain in the hunt to claim a place in European competition next season.

It is common for teams who are fighting against relegation to rotate their team and play other players among their roster for FA Cup games, to rest stars for important league matches. However, that should not happen here due to Fulham’s healthy position, which does not bode well for Sunderland from the Championship. If anything, it could be the Black Cats who rest players as they look to force their way into the playoffs and a potentially lucrative promotion. Either way, though, there is enough optimism around Craven Cottage to suggest Fulham should win this one.

Blackburn ML over Birmingham (+120), 10:00 am ET

Like Sunderland, former Premier League champions Blackburn is looking to get back into the top division, even though they were shocked by a recent 4-0 defeat to Rotherham. That said though, Rovers should take great confidence from beating Norwich in the last round and their opponent Birmingham is going through a poor run of form.

The Blues’ 2-1 home loss to Preston last week was their 5th successive league defeat and the only team they have beaten since Christmas has been Forest Green in the last round, and they are at the bottom of the league below them, League One. This should be a good chance for Rovers to give their confidence a boost so expect them to move into the 5th round without a great deal of difficulty.

Tottenham ML over Preston & both teams to score (+174), 1:00 pm ET

Tottenham is behind the pace as it looks to qualify for next season’s Champions League and the FA Cup represents its best chance of winning a trophy for the first time since 2008, so expect a strong team to head to Championship team Preston. After defeats to Arsenal and Manchester City, Spurs got back to winning ways when they beat Fulham on Monday with a Harry Kane goal and they should have more than enough to book their place in the 5th round.

However, Preston is capable of causing problems for a Tottenham defense that has looked shaky at times. North End lost their last home game 4-0 against Norwich but bounced back with a 2-1 win over Birmingham and showed they can be a threat in the 3-1 win over Huddersfield in the last round, so go for Spurs to win and both teams to score in this leg.

Manchester United ML over Reading & under 3.5 goals (+100), 3:00 pm ET

Manchester United’s hopes of winning the Premier League suffered when it tied 1-1 at Crystal Palace and then lost at leader Arsenal on Sunday, but they look a strong bet in the final game of Saturday’s FA Cup matches against Reading. Erik ten Hag’s team had won 9 straight matchups before failing to win at Selhurst Park and even though it is likely the team will not be as full strength, they should beat the Royals, who play in the Championship.

Paul Ince’s team has lost 7 of its last 9 road games and, if United takes an early lead, it may not take much for the home team to take its foot off the gas, so a Red Devils win with fewer than 4 goals looks the way to go.
