Brentford ML over Southampton (-115), 10:00 am ET
Southampton suffered defeat in their EFL Cup semifinals against Newcastle on Tuesday and may take another loss when they visit Brentford. The Bees have a solid home record, losing just 1 of their 10 home games this season, and have won 4 of their last 6 in the Premier League, including victories over Manchester City and Liverpool.
Southampton have improved under new coach Nathan Jones but they have still lost the most games of any team in the league this season, 13, and are bottom of the table. Brentford can make things worse for the visitors and pick up another home win.

Newcastle reached their first cup final since 1999 on Tuesday and will fancy their chances of taking that form into this Premier League battle with West Ham. The Magpies are unbeaten at St. James’ Park this season and have the best defensive record in the league, conceding just 11 goals in 20 games. In attack, Callum Wilson has been key for Eddie Howe’s side, scoring 6 goals in 13 starts for them this season, and he can find the back of the net against the Hammers. The England striker should start with Alexander Isak suffering an injury against Southampton, and he is also the Magpies’ penalty taker so pick him to score for the high-flying home team.
