The NFL season is well underway as we enter Week 5 and there are plenty of side and total bets to be made this weekend, and you can find out the best of those by checking our NFL picks for every game.

However, there are also a lot of player props with a ton of value to capitalize on and that’s what we’ll be looking at here. Each week we’ll select our three best player prop bets, and here’s what we like the look of for Sunday’s NFL slate.

1. QB Baker Mayfield under 249.5 passing yards

Based on how these teams have played so far, I’m amazed this line is so high and it is definitely something worth zoning in on.

The Cleveland Browns have the fewest passing yards in the NFL (even fewer than Tennessee and Pittsburgh, despite playing one game more). Mayfield has registered more than 200 passing yards just once in his four games this season. Even when the Browns put 49 points on the Cowboys last week, Mayfield had just 165 passing yards.

The Indianapolis Colts meanwhile have allowed the fewest passing yards in the NFL, and an average of 159.25 per game. Granted, they’ve come up against some pretty uninspiring quarterbacks, but this defense is legit.

There’s no doubt that Cleveland will be aware of this and after how Kareem Hunt performed last week they’ll have no problem handing the ball off more often than not.

2. RB James Robinson over 20.5 receiving yards

James Robinson has been a bright spark on this Jacksonville offense and he looks worth siding with to land a decent share of receiving yards.

Robinson had six receptions for 83 yards against Miami two weeks ago and followed that up with four receptions for 32 yards last week in Cincinnati. Quarterback Gardner Minshew clearly likes using Robinson as a safety blanket in that respect and he could easily top this line after just a couple of catches.

The Texans have at times been vulnerable to this threat and I think there’s a good chance they struggle to contain it once again.

3. TE Eric Ebron over 37.5 receiving yards

Eric Ebron has really become a major factor in the Steelers offense in their last couple of games, and registering 38 or more receiving yards should be well within his grasp.

The North Carolina product had five receptions for 52 yards and a touchdown last time out against Houston. Meanwhile, opponents Philadelphia have allowed the third-most touchdowns to tight ends in the NFL and on Monday allowed George Kittle to put up 183 yards and a touchdown off a mammoth 15 receptions.

It is clearly an issue for the Eagles defense and one I expect Ben Roethlisberger and company to exploit here.
