Thursday NBA 4-team mega parlay (+1230 odds): 76ers roll Pistons

NBA parlay

It’s Thursday and we need some NBA action. Not just any action though, a mega parlay. Between the NFL and NHL, it might be hard to throw out your best stuff so I’ll let you in on a little secret. You don’t even have to watch basketball to throw out something that can win. Do like I do with sides and totals. Just go to Pickswise.com, hit the NBA tab and just take those guys’ bets. It’s what I did for this one and honestly, I don’t feel like I can lose at this point.

Don’t just read about this parlay though. You’d be crazy to do that! Our team has put together picks on the side and total of all the games on the NBA slate today/tonight. You can also follow me on Twitter for any other bets I might throw out throughout the day.

Philadelphia 76ers -10.5 (-110)

New York Knicks vs Chicago Bulls under 215 (-114)

Utah Jazz -9 (-105)

Memphis Grizzlies vs Golden State Warriors under 229.5 (-114)

Parlay Odds: +1230

Philadelphia 76ers -10.5 (-110)

The Philadelphia 76ers have been pretty embarrassing so far. Between the Ben Simmons stuff to getting waxed by the New York Knicks the other night. It’s pretty bad over there at this point. Our guy Filip Tomic is saying not to worry and he has a point. First off, the Detroit Pistons can’t score. They have yet to score more than 104 points this season and are dead last in the NBA in points per game. They’re literally the only team in the NBA that is averaging less than 100 points per game (91.3). Filip also said that Joel Embiid took only 7 shots last time out against the Knicks. Look for him to definitely be more active on offense and absolutely abuse a Pistons team that may be without Jerami Grant. This should kick-start our parlay.

New York Knicks vs Chicago Bulls under 215 (-114)

I went to the Knicks/Bulls preview next and staring right back at me was a 2-star move on the under 215. I hate unders with a passion. They just aren’t fun to watch. Think about it, you’re literally sitting they hoping people fail. I thrive on enthusiasm so it makes it tough. Still, I’m going with our guy Nick Galaida because that’s the kind of guy I am. Class act (not bragging). Plus Nick is 100% correct. Even though these teams are efficient on offense, they might play at a snail’s pace tonight. Chicago wants to do all they can to see under 100 possessions and they are at home. Combine that with the fact that both teams are in the top 10 in defensive efficiency and we have the recipe for one boring game. This under should keep our parlay moving.

Utah Jazz -9 (-105)

I saw this one rated as a 1-star but it could easily be a 2-star move. First off, the Rockets are very young and they’re playing one of the best teams in the NBA in terms of defensive efficiency. That’s not good news since there is no team in the NBA worse in terms of turnovers per possession than Houston. The Jazz have won every game they’ve played so far by at least 9 points and they just don’t have the make-up of a team that will play down to competition. Honestly, this could end up being a 20+ point beatdown. Ask yourself this, would you be comfortable with a Rockets +9 ticket in your hand for this game? I sure wouldn’t!

Memphis Grizzlies vs Golden State Warriors under 229.5 (-114)

I didn’t want to do another under but our guy Nick convinced me again with this 2-star play. Pace could easily be an issue in this one as neither team plays very fast. Memphis is seeing only 103 possessions per game, which is good for 18th fastest in the NBA. On top of that, they are playing in a back-to-back situation. We should start to see the effects of tired legs at some point. On top of that, game script could hurt us as the Grizzlies just got blown out last night in Portland. If that happens again tonight and they don’t reach 100 points, I’m not sure the Warriors will be able to pick up the slack needed to make this go over. This could win the Pickswise mega parlay for us tonight.
