Just a two day break and we are back to the octagon with UFC Fight Island 2. There are several huge favorites on this card, meaning looking for a parlay could be worth it.

Here is our favorite three-fight parlay that pays at odds of +194. Be sure to check out the rest of our UFC Fight Island 2 predictions for the full 12-fight card.

Montel Jackson (-215)

Looking to extend his win streak to 4 fights will be Montel Jackson as he takes on Brett Johns. Jackson is 9-1 in the MMA and 3-1 in the UFC. He is an excellent striker, averaging 4.16 significant strikes per minute. More impressively, he takes very little damage, absorbing just 1.51 strikes per minute. His grappling game is just as prominent, averaging 4.84 takedowns per every 15 minutes. Jackson also has a takedown accuracy of 79% and a takedown defense of 70%, showing he does not get thrown to the mat very often.

Brett Johns comes into this fight 16-2 in the MMA and 4-2 in the UFC. He will look for the takedown often, considering he averages 4.29 per every 15 minutes. Johns is decently accurate with his takedowns, at 52%, while his takedown defense is 61%. He is averaging 3.3 significant strikes per minute, while absorbing 4.27 strikes.

Jackson is better in just about every category and his ability to stop takedowns will propel him to yet another win in the UFC.

Grant Dawson (-250)

Looking to improve to 4-0 in the UFC, Grant Dawson will take on Nad Narimani in our featured preliminary. Dawson comes into this fight with an MMA record of 15-1. He is currently riding a 6-fight win streak. Dawson is averaging 3.48 significant strikes per minute at an accuracy of 48%. He also only absorbs 2.15 strikes, so he does not take a ton of damage. His grappling is his staple, averaging 5.09 takedowns per every 15 minutes and 2.5 submission attempts during the same time period.

Nad Narimani is also looking to be a promising prospect, posting an MMA record of 12-3 and 2-1 in the UFC. He is averaging 3.8 significant strikes per minute at an accuracy of 43%. His best attribute is his takedown defense, which is 75%. Even knowing that, Dawson’s ground fighting ability is still superior and I believe that will allow him to remain undefeated in the UFC.

Deiveson Figueiredo (-230)

Our Main Event at UFC Fight Island 2 will be a Flyweight title bout featuring Deiveson Figueiredo and Joseph Benavidez. Figueiredo is 18-1 in the MMA. His UFC record is 7-1. Figueiredo is by no means the best striker, landing an average of 2.54 significant strikes per minute. He averages 1.81 takedowns per every 15 minutes. Furthermore, he averages 2.4 submission attempts per every 15 minutes, so a ground fight could favor him greatly.

Joseph Benavidez is 28-6 in the MMA and 15-4 in the UFC. He has proven to be the better striker, averaging 3.53 significant strikes per minute. The issue with that is his striking accuracy is only 34%. Similar to his striking accuracy, Benavidez’s takedown accuracy is only 30%.

I think this will be a closer fight the second time around, but the balance fighting style from Figueiredo will allow him to successfully defend his Flyweight belt.
