NBA parlay success
Our NBA handicappers hit a couple of parlays on Friday as our standard NBA parlay cashed at reduced odds of +264 (due to the third leg being a push), and it was a similar story on our Bucks vs 76ers Same Game Parlay with 2 legs cashing and the other being a push, leaving us with a +538 win. Our only 3-star play of over 230.5 in Thunder vs Grizzlies cashed too as the Grizzlies won 121-110.

Canucks come through
It was a 1 bet, 1 win day for Pickswise in the NHL as the Canucks (-105) won the only game of the day, beating the Kings 4-1 in Vancouver. We are on a 7-2 run with NHL player props, too, after Friday’s pick was a winner.

2-0 ATS on college football
Friday was the calm before the Saturday storm in college football, but it was a nice introduction to the weekend as we went 2-0 against the spread with our picks of San Diego State -14.5 and South Florida +13.5.

Best Bet of the Day

CFB: Michigan Wolverines -17.5 over Illinois Fighting Illini
12:00 pm ET, ABC

The Wolverines have pretty much cruised to a perfect 10-0 record, having yet to encounter a real dogfight. Their defense has been even better than last year’s, ranking 1st in points allowed per game (11.2) and top 5 in every major yardage category, but Heisman Trophy candidate Blake Corum has stolen the spotlight. He is averaging a robust 134.9 yards per game rushing while touching paydirt 18 total times. This Illinois defensive unit is no joke, but the Illini haven’t faced an offensive line or running back like Michigan’s. Michigan is also 12-3-1 ATS in its last 16 conference games, while the Fighting Illini have now failed to cover in 3 of their last 5 contests.
