A total of 10 teams are in action tonight in the NBA, and we have ourselves an NBA TV double-header starting at 7.30 pm ET as the Philadelphia 76ers host the Minnesota Timberwolves. Last night I delivered a winner on my Bucks vs 76ers Same Game Parlay and I have prepared another one for tonight’s game in hopes of landing back-to-back winners.

Check out my bet below, but also don’t forget to check our NBA predictions page for picks on the side and total for Saturday’s 5 game slate.

Let’s dive into the Wolves vs Sixers matchup now.

Philadelphia 1-10 win margin (+190)

Joel Embiid to score 35+ points (-110)

Karl-Anthony Towns Over 8.5 rebounds (+102)

Parlay odds: +894

Philadelphia 1-10 win margin (+190)

With 3 wins on the bounce and 4 in their last 5 games, the 76ers are back over .500 finally with an 8-7 record. Joel Embiid is playing like a man possessed out there, he has dominated all 3 of his matchups during this win streak and the Sixers are aiming to win 4 in a row for the first time this season. Their opponent tonight, the Timberwolves, are also on a 2-game win streak of their own; but their wins were against a Cavs team that was without Donovan Mitchell and the Orlando Magic. As much as I like the prospect of the Rudy Gobert and Karl-Anthony Towns pairing long term, those two are still trying to figure out it when both of them are on the court at the same time.

Playing a dominant presence like Embiid will be a real test, Philly has dominated the Wolves with 9 wins in the last 10 meetings. In games played at Wells Fargo Center it’s been all Philly with 7 wins in the last 8 head-to-head. Minnesota has covered just 3 times in the last 15 against them, as underdogs they are only 1-3 SU this season. Philly did play last night, so the rest advantage is on the Timberwolves side, I still believe in the 76ers here, so expect a close game, but ultimately Embiid carries them to another win here.

Saturday’s NBA mega parlay is available at +600 odds!

Joel Embiid to score 35+ points (-110)

When a player has it going like Embiid has right now, you just have to stick with the hot hand. Over his last 10 games he is putting up 36.2 points per game while shooting 53.4% from the field and 83% from the free-throw line. He’s doing all this without his main partner in crime, James Harden, and just last night he dropped 32 in the win over the Bucks at home. The Timberwolves are one of his favorite opponents; against them he’s scored 34, 42, 24 and 37 points in the last 4 meetings.

For a team that has Rudy Gobert in the middle, you would think the T’Wolves would be one of the league leaders in preventing teams from scoring inside the paint. That’s not been the case though, they rank only 14th allowing 47.2 per game, over their last 3 games that number has jumped to 53.3 per game. I think we can all agree that Embiid will pose a much bigger threat in that area than anyone of the last 3 opponents they faced (Memphis, Cleveland and Orlando). Assuming he didn’t exert himself too much in last night’s game, I have Embiid going for at least 35 in this one.

Karl-Anthony Towns Over 8.5 rebounds (+102)

As bad as Minnesota has been in defending the paint, the same can be said about the 76ers when it comes to cleaning the glass. This team ranks only 20th in the NBA in opponent rebounds per game allowing 52.7 a night, with the last 3 opponents averaging 59.3. It’s no surprise that they rank dead last in rebounds per game averaging just 46.7 a night, so that’s definitely something KAT can take advantage of here. He’s the team’s leader at 9 boards per game right now and although he had just 5 of them in the win over Orlando, he’s been able to clear this line in 6 of 8 games played in November. With his team playing at the 5th-fastest pace in the league right now, there should be plenty of rebounding opportunities for Towns if the Wolves decide to push the tempo against a Philly defense that is on a 2nd night of a back-to-back.
