A pair of Eastern Conference heavyweights clash at the Wells Fargo Center this evening as the Philadelphia 76ers host the Milwaukee Bucks in what will be the 2nd meeting of the season between the two teams. Tip-off is at 7:30 pm ET on ESPN, as part of their doubleheader. I’ve prepared a Same Game Parlay for the huge clash which is available below. Make sure you also check our NBA predictions for selections on all 11 Friday games. Let’s dive in!

Philadelphia 76ers 1-10 win margin (+175)

Joel Embiid over 1.5 made threes (+132)

Tobias Harris to score 20+ points (+300)

Parlay odds: +2051

Philadelphia 76ers 1-10 win margin over Milwaukee Bucks (+175)

This will be the 2nd meeting of the season between the Bucks and Sixers, with Milwaukee winning 90-88 way back in the opening week of the season. Now it’s time for Philadelphia to get revenge on their home floor. Philly is on a 3-game home winning streak at the moment, beating the likes of Phoenix, Atlanta and Utah — all playoff teams as things stand right now. Sure, they are currently without James Harden, who is out with a foot injury, but the Bucks are also short-handed, having been without Jrue Holiday for the past few games. He is still questionable with an ankle issue, and his lack of presence is felt both on offense and on defense.

Milwaukee has scored under 100 points in 3 of their last 5 games and their depth has taken a hit with the absence of Grayson Allen, Wesley Matthews and Pat Connaughton, who have been in and out of the lineup. Against a quality 76ers defense, it will get tough at times. I have the Sixers evening the regular season series at 1-1, but it will likely be a close game, similar to what we saw in the 1st meeting which was decided by only two points.

Joel Embiid over 1.5 made threes (+132)

There were several factors I considered when backing this bet. The biggest one was the Bucks’ interior defense, which has caused Embiid some problems in the past. Penetrating the paint with Giannis and Brook Lopez waiting for you on the inside is no easy task, and because of that Embiid could have to settle a bit more for shots on the perimeter. That has worked well in 2 of the last 3 games, where he knocked down 3 threes against the Bucks.

For his career, Embiid is averaging 2 makes from downtown against them on 35% shooting. Although his shot hasn’t been falling lately, he is getting 4.5 attempts per game in the month of November. Over their last 3 games, the Bucks are allowing opponents to shoot 39.2% from beyond the arc, which is another thing worth considering. After his 59-point explosion against the Jazz in the last game, I believe Embiid settles a bit more here and shouldn’t have too many issues draining a pair of threes.

Tobias Harris to score 20+ points (+300)

Not having to deal with Khris Middleton will be huge for Tobias Harris in this game. He is only 4th on the team in scoring, but James Harden is currently out of the lineup which means he jumps up a spot in the scoring hierarchy. He’s averaging 16.4 points per game at Wells Fargo Center this season and so far in the month of November he’s scored 20 or more points in 3 of the 6 games he’s played in. He’s also a capable three-point shooter at almost 40% this season, on 2.1 threes made per game.

In head-to-head meetings against the Bucks, Harris averages 16.9 per game in 34 career games, while in the 3 most recent meetings he has a 19 and 22-point game. The last time he played Milwaukee he was limited to just 9 points, but his shot opportunities should go up drastically tonight with Harden out of the lineup and the Bucks facing some injury issues.
