Good morning, Pickswise Nation, and welcome to another wonderful day of sports! The NFL Conference Championship games aren’t quite here yet, but we do have action in the NBA and NHL to keep you entertained, plus another massive day in college hoops. Let’s get into making your next bet better!

About Last Night

Eventful night in college basketball
There were a number of compelling college basketball games on Wednesday, and we were treated to some exciting finishes. Iowa State survived a late Kansas State run to win at home and move into a 3-way tie atop the Big 12 standings. Coincidentally, Texas is one of those teams tied at the top, as the Longhorns dispatched Oklahoma State for their second straight win. Other results included a wild finish at the Carrier Dome, with North Carolina defeating Syracuse, while Kentucky and Rutgers rolled their respective competition.

Knicks get a much-needed win at MSG
It was a slow night in the NBA, but our handicappers had a profitable night as they went 5-2 on totals and our props expert went 2-1, including a win at +160 odds! We’re now on an 8-3 run on player props. The standout game came at Madison Square Garden, as the Knicks knocked off the Cavaliers in the waning moments while the Clippers demolished the Lakers.

Solid day of NHL prop picks
Our NHL team stayed hot on Tuesday, particularly in the player prop market. The Pickswise NHL handicappers are now on a 10-2 run, so be sure to look out for our NHL player props article today!

Quiet night on the ice
With a busy weekend of NHL action on the horizon, Wednesday’s slate features just 5 games, but there are still compelling matchups to be had. The game of the day is in Toronto, as the Leafs host the Rangers, while the Hurricanes will take on the Stars in Dallas. Check out today’s NHL picks.

Packed college basketball slate

Best Bet of the Day

NHL: Vancouver Canucks vs Seattle Kraken Over 6.5
10:00 pm ET, ESPN+

Right off the bat, we can simply look at the previous 2 meetings between these teams this season. The first was a 9-point game, while the most recent was an 11-point game at the end of December. Given how the form of these 2 squads hasn’t changed much since then or throughout the season for that matter, there’s no reason not to expect another high-scoring matchup. Vancouver is allowing a ridiculous 4.5 goals per game since January 1, the most in the league. Expect another high-scoring clash in this one. Read our full Canucks vs Kraken predictions.
