Another great weekend of sports action is in the books, and Monday brings us a pre-Christmas gift as there are two NFL games to watch tonight, plus NBA, NHL, college football and college basketball action. Let’s get straight into it!

About Last Night

NFL Week 15 produces some wild results
Crazy things were happening in the NFL again on Sunday, headed by 2-10-1 Detroit (+500 ML!) beating 10-4 Arizona 30-12. Reigning Super Bowl champion Tampa Bay was shut out 9-0 by the Saints, who had been double-digit underdogs, while coachless Jacksonville slid into position to have the first pick in the draft by losing to Houston. Check out all the news from Sunday’s games in our review of what we saw in Week 15.

NBA slate disrupted again
Sunday’s NBA schedule saw 3 games postponed, but the sole Pickswise 3-star pick of Timberwolves money line cashed. The 24-5 Suns have the best record in the NBA after beating the Hornets by 31 points.

Today’s Slate

Twice the action of a regular NFL Monday
NFL fans get a Monday night doubleheader as Raiders vs Browns (5pm ET, NFL Network) was moved from Saturday to a slot before the scheduled Monday Night Football game between the Bears and the Vikings (8:15pm ET, ESPN). With yesterday’s AFC North results, the Browns start the day in 4th place but will be in 1st if they win. Read our picks for both of today’s NFL games.

Six games scheduled in the NBA
There are 6 remaining games in the NBA tonight, with Magic vs Raptors postponed. The Warriors bid to bounce back from their loss to the Raptors with a home game against the Kings (10:00 pm ET). Read our picks for all of today’s basketball.

Two NHL games survive
It’s a case of quality over quantity in the NHL, with only 2 games still taking place, but they’re both solid contests as the Blue Jackets meet the Sabres and the Wild take on the Stars. Check out our picks for today’s NHL games.

Bowl games resume!
After making way for the pros on Sunday, the college football bowl games resume with Old Dominion taking on Tulsa in the Myrtle Beach Bowl (2:30 pm ET, ESPN). Read our picks for the Myrtle Beach Bowl.

Top college basketball teams in action
There’s a small slate of NCAA basketball today but some of the best players in the country are taking to the hardwood with Baylor, Purdue, and Gonzaga all in action! We have picks for today’s top college basketball games.

Best Bet of the Day

Over 5.5 goals in Minnesota Wild vs Dallas Stars
8:30 pm ET, ESPN+

The Stars have given up at least 3 goals in their last 3 games, and playing the Wild — who score the 3rd-most in the league — is not likely to change the trends. Minnesota scores freely, and they will be motivated to put on a show after losing 3 straight following an 8-game winning streak in which they scored 37 goals. Check out our full preview of Wild vs Stars.

Must-watch

Start your week the right way by watching our daily sports betting show Let’s Bet It! Today hosts Jared Smith and Lauren Jbara will be joined by Gilles Gallant, a sports betting analyst for FTNBets and host of Touchdown Town and Dawg Day Afternoon with BetsMedia.

Gilles’ specialty is TD scorer props, so watch the show to find out who he expects to score in tonight’s games before the team discuss the NFL futures odds in Market Correction Monday and vent about a team that drives them nuts in Monday Morning Therapy. And they’ll give their Plays of the Day, of course.

Must-read

Firstly, don’t miss our same game parlay for the Vikings vs Bears game, while Andrew Ortenberg gives his verdict on the Saints and Bucs in our Sunday Night Football reaction.

Stat of the Day

The Minnesota Vikings are 0-7 against the spread in their last 7 games against teams with losing records.

Boost of the Day

Justin Fields to record 250+ passing yards

Justin Fields is the main man for the Bears at Soldier Field tonight and if you think he can have a big night against a questionable Vikings secondary, DraftKings have boosted the odds of Fields having at least 250 passing yards from +240 to +280.
