Following an incredibly busy Saturday in the world of sports, Sunday has some big shoes to fill — and it should have no trouble ding just that. As always we have huge slate of NFL action, plus the MLB postseason is continuing with Game 2 of the NLCS, week one of the 2021-22 NHL is wrapping up, there also a couple of games in both the English Premier League and Major League Soccer, and our weekly golf picks are also looking good with one round remaining.

Let’s get straight to helping you make your next bet better!

About Last Night

2 grand slams in Game 2 for Red Sox
The Boston Red Sox quite literally slammed their way back into the ALCS by becoming the first team in Major League Baseball history to hit 2 grand slams in a single postseason game. And they needed only 2 innings to do it! J.D. Martinez cleared the bases in the 1st frame and Rafael Devers did the same in the 2nd. Boston held on for a 9-5 victory, bouncing back impressively from Friday’s 5-4 loss. The Astros are still favored to win the series at -125 (DraftKings Sportsbook); the Red Sox are +105.

No. 1 rolls, No. 2 goes down in college football
Georgia remained undefeated and will stay No. 1 in the polls following its 30-13 victory over Kentucky. However, No. 2 Iowa suffered a terrible 24-7 home loss to Purdue. That could pave the way for Cincinnati or Oklahoma to move up behind Georgia. The Bulldogs are +125 favorites to win the National Championship.

Today’s Slate

Week 6 in the NFL
Week 6 marks the continuation of the London games, with the Dolphins and the Jaguars squaring off in the extra standalone, early-morning slot. We didn’t get the London series last year due to COVID-19, so it’s a welcomed return of this unique aspect. In the afternoon segment we have huge showdowns between the Chargers and Ravens and the Cardinals and Browns, while Sunday Night Football pits the Seahawks against the Steelers. Before locking in your bet slip, be sure to take a look at our expert predictions for every NFL Week 6 game.

Game 2 of the NLCS
The Atlanta Braves took Game 1 of the NLCS against the Los Angeles Dodgers with a walk-off win on Saturday night. Austin Riley, who had previously hit a tying homer, drove in the winning run with a single in the bottom of the 9th for a 3-2 victory. Max Scherzer will try to help L.A. rebound on Sunday, when he opposes fellow right-hander Ian Anderson of Atlanta. Check out the MLB page for all of our postseason content.

And there’s more….
Sunday’s sports schedule also features more than a few betting opportunities across the NHL and soccer. You can read today’s NHL game previews here and we also have soccer advice for the EPL and MLS. Moreover, the final round of the CJ Cup is taking place and all three of our futures picks are in contention.

Best Bet of the Day

Arizona Cardinals vs Cleveland Browns Under 49.5
4:05 pm ET, FOX

Arizona is the last undefeated team remaining in the NFL and will put its 5-0 record on the line during a visit to Cleveland on Sunday afternoon. The Browns played a shootout against the Chargers last week, but that was out of character. Over their previous two games they had allowed only 13 total points. It appears Cardinals QB Kyler Murray is dealing with an injury to his throwing shoulder, which would help Cleveland’s defensive efforts. On the other side of the ball, Browns RB Nick Chubb is out. Read our full game preview for Cardinals vs Browns.

Boost of the Day

Justin Herbert and Lamar Jackson to combine for more than 600 passing yards

Chargers vs Ravens is one of the marquee matchups of Week 6 and DraftKings is offering an odds boost to celebrate it. Herbert ad Jackson combining for more than 600 yards through the air has been boosted from +325 to +380.
