About Last Night

Suns first team to reach 50 wins, Nuggets struck by Thunder
It was a lively night in the NBA on Wednesday as the Phoenix Suns became the first team to win 50 games this season by beating the Trail Blazers 120-90. The Oklahoma City Thunder supplied the big upset, ending Denver’s 6-game win streak as 13.5-point underdogs. Our sole 3-point play of over 222.5 in Knicks vs 76ers cashed comfortably, while Germantas Kneita and Adam Ronis combined to go 5-2 on our NBA prop plays.

College basketball mega parlay cashes!
We love it when a mega parlay cashes, and Wednesday’s college hoops play of ML wins for underdogs Oklahoma State and Texas A&M landed at +1125 odds! The Aggies had been +400 to upset Alabama but won 87-71, while the Cowboys limited the Cyclones to just 36 points and won by 17! Creighton beat ranked UConn in another upset.

Upsets in small NHL slate
It was a quieter day in the NHL, but 2 of the 4 games produced wild results, with the 17-30-8 Sabres stunning the 35-15-4 Maple Leafs 5-1, while the 17-34-5 Kraken won 4-3 against the 30-20-4 Predators.

Best Bet of the Day

Illinois Fighting Illini -12.5 vs Penn State Nittany Lions
7:00 pm ET, ESPN+

Penn State had won 3 of their previous 4 games before being demolished 93-70 at home by Nebraska on Saturday. The Nittany Lions’ biggest issue has been scoring, and they rank 306th nationally in points per game with 65.3, and now they must head into a hostile environment trying to win their first road game since January 5. The Illini offense is difficult for any team to defend. Kofi Cockburn ranks 2nd in the B1G with 21.5 points per game. Illinois most recently defeated Michigan by a score of 93-85, the first time they have scored 90 points against a Power 5 team this season. It’s really hard to see this Penn State team recovering after losing to a Nebraska team that had not won a road game all season and Illinois should dominate on both ends of the floor. Check out our full preview for Penn State vs Illinois.
