Week 8 closes with a battle in the NFC between the Chicago Bears (+3) and Seattle Seahawks. It may be a coincidence, but both of these teams made massive moves before the trade deadline to boost their chances of winning a Super Bowl, and we hope to see both new players in uniform Monday night. The Bears added All-Pro defensive tackle Jeffrey Simmons in exchange for two first-round draft picks, a move that should bolster their run defense and have a positive impact on their pass rush.

For the defending Super Bowl champs, the Seahawks added All-Pro center Quentin Nelson to aid in a failing run game. In addition Nelson helping that ground attack, Jadarian Price and Zach Charbonnet are expected to be healthy this week. The total sits at 46.5, and this game could be an NFC Championship Preview if both trades have the impact they expect. Let's dive into my favorite NFL player props for the affair.

We have NFL predictions on side and total of every game this season

MNF Player Prop: Zach Charbonnet (SEA) over 7.5 receiving yards (-114)

Odds available on FanDuel Sportsbook at the time of publishing.

I read through HC Mike Macdonald's post practice presser and came away confident in Charbonnet's role returning from injury. On the importance of pass protection as a RB and the things that Charbonnet brings, MacDonald said, "He's a three-down back. He can catch the ball out of the backfield, he can run a pretty significant route tree out of the backfield, he can run all the different types of runs and all the different types of situations and his pass protection has been excellent since he's been here." Later in the interview, "But Zach is as good as they get, blocking out of the backfield".

Blocking out of the backfield been a sore spot for a Seattle offense that let Kenneth Walker go in free agency and was without Charbonnet to start the year. Having Charbonnet in on passing downs is big for them, and this number is very attainable, even if his snaps are being monitored.

MNF Player Prop: Rome Odunze (CHI) over 41.5 receiving yards (-112)

Odds available on DraftKings Sportsbook at the time of publishing.

This is really more of a knock on Luther Burden and Colston Loveland than anything, but this is a decent price on Rome Odunze. While Seattle is a stout defense overall, they allow the fewest slot yards per game, fewest slot receptions overall and the second-lowest percentage of their passing yards over the middle of the field. As such, I will pivot to Odunze on the perimeter here and hope we get a negative game script for the Bears to put this over the edge. His median yards this season is 44, so getting this line below his median is enough for me to put two units total on this game, one on each prop.
