Eagles vs Commanders Same Game Parlay: Best SGP Picks

Week 8 of the NFL season kicks off with Thursday Night Football between the Philadelphia Eagles (2-5) and Washington Commanders (1-4-1) at Northwest Stadium outside of Washington, D.C. Neither team is any good, but the truth is that both are still alive in an atrocious NFC East. That will probably change, however, for whoever loses this game.

I have been red hot with my Same Game Parlays in recent weeks. Let's keep the momentum going with my SGP for Sunday’s primetime festivities, which get underway at 8:20 pm ET on NBC. Also be sure to check out our full Eagles vs Commanders predictions.

Commanders -6 (-110)

Rachaad White to record 50+ rushing yards (+152)

Tanner McKee Over 0.5 touchdown passes (-216)

 Parlay odds: +475

Part of the value in a Same Game Parlay, of course, is that all of its components can be correlated if you so choose. That is some of the plan here, as Washington running back Rachaad White racking up his fair share of yards would obviously work well with a Commanders win and cover. At the same time, plays that aren’t correlated drive up the overall payout of the parlay. That is the case with backing Philadelphia quarterback Tanner McKee to throw a touchdown pass. But even if he does, there is no reason why the home team can’t take care of business. Let’s break down each of the three legs.

Commanders -6 (-110)

At first glance, giving six points is not overly enticing in division-rivalry matchup. When you dive into it, though, Philadelphia is getting six points for a very good reason. And it probably isn’t even enough. Head coach Nick Sirianni’s squad is in absolute shambles, some of which is its own fault but a lot of it due to factors beyond its control – namely a whole host of injuries. QB Jalen Hurts is out for the year, WRs DeVonta Smith and Dontayvion Wicks will miss Sunday’s contest, LB Jihaad Campbell is also out and RB Saquon Barkley is almost certainly nowhere close to 100 percent despite not having any injury designation this week. The Eagles’ offensive line has been decimated, as well. They have lost five games in a row since starting the season 2-0, and their last two setbacks have come by double-digits against opponents that might not even make the playoffs (Carolina and Dallas). After Philly scored a touchdown on its first drive of the second half, the Cowboys held the visitors to just 76 total yards and no points the rest of the way. As if all of that isn’t enough, the Commanders are coming off a bye in Week 7. Head coach Dan Quinn’s crew is well rested and also much healthier than its counterpart. Give me the home team to prevail by at least a touchdown on Sunday night.

Rachaad White to record 50+ rushing yards (+152)

The is no denying that Philadelphia’s defense still boasts plenty of individual talent, it is a defense that is bending and breaking far too often – largely because it is overworked as a result of the offense being unable to stay on the field. White should be among those who are more than capable of taking advantage and victimizing a reeling opponent. The Eagles are #27 in the NFL in run defense (131.4 yards per game allowed) while giving up 4.2 yards per carry. With Jacory Croskey-Merritt on injured reserve, White is currently RB1 in the Commanders’ backfield. A positive game script calls for the Commanders to build a lead and play from ahead, allowing them to work the clock and pound the rock with the former Arizona State standout.

Tanner McKee Over 0.5 touchdown passes (-216)

Nobody is expecting Philadelphia’s offense to set the world on fire, but asking McKee to simply toss one scoring strike should not be too much. He has thrown a touchdown pass in each of his two appearances so far in 2026. The Eagles have no semblance of a ground attack right now (#27 league wide in rushing, and it has been getting worse and worse), so McKee will be forced to hit the airwaves regardless of the fact that he is missing a couple of receivers. The Stanford product is going up against a Washington defense that has given up 10 touchdowns through the air while coming up with only one interception.
