NFL Week 9 Player Props: Best Bets for Sunday's Games
After a Week 8 slate with no International Games, we return to action at 9:30 A.M. E.T. with Bengals-Falcons kicking off the Sunday slate in Madrid. To follow, the 1:00 P.M. E.T. slate is headlined by Broncos-Panthers, with a quad of games to cover the 4:00 P.M. E.T. slate. Make sure you check out our NFL predictions on the side and totals for every NFL Week 9 game and every matchup throughout the entire season. But for now, let's break down our best NFL Week 9 player prop bets for Sunday's games.
NFL Week 9 Player Prop: Kyren Williams (LAR) Over 13.5 rushing attempts (-104)
Odds available at Caesars Sportsbook at time of publishing.
We had success backing the Rams' backfield last week, cashing Blake Corum over 10.5 rushing attempts. In Week 9, we're pivoting to Corum's backfield mate, Kyren Williams, even with a split backfield. The Rams open as 4.5-point road favorites against a Commanders team coming off a Sunday Night Football win. Backing a West Coast team traveling to the East Coast can be dangerous, but with Matthew Stafford dealing with an elbow injury heading into Sunday, the Rams could lean on Williams, who has run 16 times in each of his last two games. Caesars is offering close to even-money for this prop, while FanDuel is up to 14.5 rushing attempts.
NFL Week 9 Player Prop: Quinshon Judkins (CLE) Over 63.5 rushing yards (-115)
Odds available at BetMGM Sportsbook at time of publishing. Playable to 70.5
Uncertainty surrounds the Browns' quarterback room heading into Week 9. Deshaun Watson, as of publication, is in concussion protocol, which would bring Shedeur Sanders off the sidelines. That is likely to lead to Quinshon Judkins getting a massive workload against a Saints defense that, before their bye week, was getting slashed on the ground. Judkins rushing attempts prop is up to 16.5 on major books, with FanDuel likely to move to 17.5 by kickoff. That indicates he'll be busy on Sunday in what presumes to be one of the lowest-scoring games on the Sunday slate.
Bet365 is hanging an extremely generous line at 63.5 yards, so pick that off if you can. Though I'd play this line up to 70.5
NFL Week 9 Player Prop: Woody Marks (HOU) To Score a Touchdown (+110)
Odds available at DraftKings Sportsbook at time of publishing.
We're sticking with the same theme on Sunday - Back bellcow running backs in elite matchups. Woody Marks, fresh off a bye week, will have full command of the Texans backfield once again. David Montgomery has been ruled out for Week 9 against the Chargers, marking his 3rd straight missed game and 4th straight week, including the bye, that he'll miss. Though Marks hasn't put up eye-popping numbers, he's run the ball 8 times in the redzone over his last 3 starts. At plus-money as nearly touchdown road favorites against a winless Chargers team, I'm backing Marks to score a touchdown to close out our top player prop bets for Week 9.
