Thursday night will feature a solid slate of 11 games. Whether you will be tuning in to watch your favorite team, or you are just here hanging around to find some action, we have you covered.

Here are a few NHL Best Bets that may be worth considering today — with lines and odds courtesy of FanDuel at the time of writing. Also, be sure to check out all of our NHL predictions for every game throughout the season, including all 11 matchups tonight.

NHL Best Bet: Chicago Blackhawks vs. Tampa Bay Lightning: Brayden Point 1+ Goal (+125)

The Tampa Bay Lightning will be in a favorable matchup against the Chicago Blackhawks on Thursday night when the Blackhawks come to town on the second half of a back-to-back. Brayden Point and the Lightning are sitting idle on Wednesday. Point comes into this game with four goals in his last four games, and is coming off a two-goal outing in his last game. Point is back playing alongside arguably the best playmaker in the NHL, Nikita Kucherov, at 5 on 5 play. Point also plays on the top powerplay unit.

The Blackhawks are one of the worst defensive teams in the league. They give up plenty of high danger scoring chances and heading into action on Wednesday, they are averaging 30.3 shots against per game, and 3.87 goals against per game. Point should have some good looks to score a goal, take him to get on the board.

Lock in our Blackhawks vs. Lightning pick for today.

NHL Best Bet: Vancouver Canucks vs. Winnipeg Jets: Jets 3-way Moneyline (-140)

The Winnipeg Jets will be hosting the Vancouver Canucks on Thursday night. The Canucks come into this game on a three-game losing streak, while the Jets are coming off a huge historical comeback win against the Montreal Canadiens on Tuesday. The Jets need to start stacking some wins to stay in the fight in a very tough Central Division. They have been struggling offensively, but they are going up against the worst defensive team in the league. The Canucks average 4.53 goals against per game.

The Canucks have only won three games all season long. They do not have the offensive talent to skate with players in the caliber of Mark Scheifele and Kyle Connor. I expect the Jets to dominate this game. Take them to win it in regulation time.

NHL Best Bet: Anaheim Ducks vs. Edmonton Oilers: Connor McDavid 2+ Assists (+150)

Connor McDavid has been on a historical run to begin his 2026-27 campaign. He has racked up 31 assists in hist first 16 games played. This is almost an average of two assists per game. The Ducks and Oilers have met once already this season, and the Oilers won that game 5-2. McDavid tallied three points with two assists in the win. The Ducks are brutal defensively and give up a lot of scoring chances. They average 3.80 goals against per game. They are also averaging the second most penalty minutes per game in the league, which will kill them against a lethal Oilers powerplay.

The last five games that the Ducks have played have all been high scoring. McDavid will thrive in a game like this where it is going to be all offense with little defense played. Look for him to continue his hot start to the year by recording two or more assists against the Ducks on Thursday.
