Everton vs Manchester City Prediction, Odds and Picks for Monday, 05/04/26

Prepare for more dramatic twists and turns in the title race with Everton’s gleaming Hill Dickinson Stadium set to provide the backdrop for a thriller between the Blues of Merseyside and Manchester on Monday. Pep Guardiola’s team put themselves in pole position to break Arsenal’s hearts when they beat Mikel Arteta’s side 2-1 at Etihad Stadium a fortnight ago, but the Gunners responded by beating Newcastle while they were in FA Cup action last weekend.

Now City face arguably their toughest test of the run-in against a David Moyes side who can still realistically push for a place in Europe. The Toffees were probably worth a point at London Stadium but Callum Wilson, so often their nemesis, popped up with a dramatic stoppage-time winner. They did receive a slice of luck that day, though, when Jordan Pickford avoided any sanction at all for a reckless challenge that could have easily seen him sent off by a more attentive referee/VAR official.

Pickford has not been in great form recently, and he should be central to the action on Monday as Guardiola’s side have the highest goals/shots ratio in the Premier League. Expect the Citizens to pick up another valuable 3 points with plenty of goals on show.
