Our MLB prop bets will be released by the latest 11am EST once all lines have become available.
Reds starter Anthony DeSclafani hasn’t allowed an earned run in 11.0 innings pitched this season. Pittsburgh counterpart Trevor Williams may lead the league in losses (three), but he is sporting a 3.52 ERA. Williams has also had plenty of success against the Reds in his career, going 5-2 with a 2.93 ERA in 12 career appearances (nine starts). He’s also had success when pitching in Cincinnati, allowing four earned runs in 12.0 innings pitched against Cincy. The Reds haven’t been hitting this season, so it isn’t unreasonable to expect Williams to continue his success against them. Both of these offenses have been absolutely brutal in 2020. The Pirates are averaging only four runs per game while batting .209 with a .601 OPS. It won’t get a whole lot easier for them on Thursday. Jose Osuna and Adram Frazier are a combined 3-for-19 against DeSclafani. Expect a slow start–and probably a slow finish!–for both lineups.
