Fight Prop Pick
Fight to go the Distance - No(-130)

The first fight on the Main Card at UFC 327 will see Cub Swanson take on Nate Landwehr. Swanson enters this fight with an MMA record of 30-14 and 20-13 in the UFC. He is averaging 4.79 strikes per minute and has a striking accuracy of 51%. Swanson is absorbing 4.00 strikes and has a striking defense of 59%. His grappling is also decent, averaging 1.01 takedowns every 15 minutes. He has a takedown accuracy of 50% and a takedown defense of 63%.

Landwehr enters this fight with an MMA record of 18-7 and 5-5 in the UFC. He is averaging 5.63 strikes per minute and has a striking accuracy of 45%. Landwehr absorbs 5.83 strikes and has a striking defense of 52%. He also has decent grappling ability, averaging 0.76 takedowns every 15 minutes and 0.8 submission attempts during the same period. Landwehr has a takedown accuracy of 41% and a takedown defense of 71%.

Landwehr is the slight favorite; therefore, we will be looking for this fight to end inside the distance. Swanson has seen 5 of his last 7 UFC fights end inside the distance, while Landwehr has seen 6 of his last 8 UFC fights end inside the distance. Because of this, also backing this fight to end inside the distance will be our play.

Money Line Pick
Reyes Win(-135)

The second fight on the Main Card at UFC 327 will see Dominick Reyes take on Johnny Walker. This will be a fight in the UFC Light Heavyweight division. Reyes enters this fight with an MMA record of 15-5 and 9-5 in the UFC. He is averaging 5.39 significant strikes per minute and has a striking accuracy of 54%. Reyes absorbs 3.49 strikes and has a striking defense of 49%. His grappling is not nearly as strong, averaging 0.29 takedowns every 15 minutes. He has a takedown accuracy of 28% and a takedown defense of 82%.

Walker enters this fight with an MMA record of 22-9 and 9-6 in the UFC. He is averaging 4.06 significant strikes per minute and has a striking accuracy of 55%. Walker absorbs 3.09 and has a striking defense of 45%. His grappling has not been strong, averaging 0.42 takedowns every 15 minutes. Walker has a takedown accuracy of 60% and a takedown defense of 57%.

Reyes is the short favorite in this fight; however, he still looks to be the best betting option. Reyes has been solid recently, going 3-1 in his last 4 UFC fights. Walker, on the other hand, is 1-2 in his last 3 UFC fights. Reyes also has the advantage in striking volume compared to Walker; therefore, backing Reyes to win will be our play.

Fight Prop Pick
Fight to go the Distance - No(-185)

The third fight on the Main Card at UFC 327 will see Curtis Blaydes take on Josh Hokit. This will be a fight in the Heavyweight division. Blaydes enters this fight with an MMA record of 19-5 and 14-5 in the UFC. He is averaging 3.56 significant strikes per minute and has a striking accuracy of 50%. Blaydes is absorbing 2.00 strikes and has a striking defense of 58%. His grappling has been elite throughout his UFC career, averaging 5.38 takedowns every 15 minutes. Blaydes has a takedown accuracy of 48% and a takedown defense of 31%.

Hokit enters this fight with an MMA record of 8-0 and 3-0 in the UFC. He is averaging 6.07 significant strikes per minute and has a striking accuracy of 66%. Hokit absorbs 0.83 strikes and has a striking defense of 66%. His grappling is also elite in the UFC, averaging 8.74 takedowns every 15 minutes. He has a takedown accuracy of 46% and a takedown defense of 100%.

Blaydes is the slight favorite in this fight; however, the best betting option looks to be backing it to end inside the distance. Hokit only has 3 UFC fights, but all of them have ended inside the distance. As for Blaydes, he has seen 5 of his last 6 UFC fights end inside the distance. Because of the high finish rate for both fighters, backing this fight to end inside the distance will be our lean.

Money Line Pick
Murzakanov Win(-198)

The Co-Main Event at UFC 327 will see Azamat Murzakanov take on Paulo Costa. This will be a fight in the UFC Light Heavyweight division. Murzakanov enters this fight with a record of 16-0 and 7-0 in the UFC. He averages 4.70 significant strikes per minute and has a striking accuracy of 57%. Murzakanov absorbs 2.86 strikes and has a striking defense of 60%. His grappling has been decent, averaging 0.55 takedowns every 15 minutes. He has a takedown accuracy of 15% and a takedown defense of 87%.

Costa enters this fight with an MMA record of 15-4 and 7-4 in the UFC. He averages 6.26 significant strikes per minute and has a striking accuracy of 58%. Costa absorbs 6.20 strikes and has a striking defense of 49%. His grappling has not been strong, averaging 0.32 takedowns every 15 minutes. Costa has a takedown accuracy of 50% and a takedown defense of 80%.

Murzakanov is the heavy favorite in this fight; however, he still looks to be the best betting option. Costa has the advantage in striking volume, but Murzakanov absorbs far fewer strikes, and he has never lost in the UFC. Given this, backing Murakanov to win will be our lean.

Money Line Pick
Ulberg Win(-105)

The Main Event at UFC 327 will see Jiri Prochazka take on Carlos Ulberg. This will be a fight in the UFC Light Heavyweight division and will be for the UFC Light Heavyweight title. Prochazka enters this fight with an MMA record of 32-5-1 and 6-2 in the UFC. He is averaging 5.69 significant strikes per minute and has a striking accuracy of 55%. Prochazka absorbs 5.60 strikes and has a striking defense of 45%. His grappling has only been decent in the UFC, averaging 0.51 takedowns every 15 minutes. He has a takedown accuracy of 60% and a takedown defense of 68%.

Ulberg enters this fight with an MMA record of 14-1 and 10-1 in the UFC. He averages 6.54 significant strikes per minute and has a striking accuracy of 55%. Ulberg absorbs 4.04 strikes and has a striking defense of 51%. His grappling is decent at best, averaging 0.55 takedowns every 15 minutes. He has a takedown accuracy of 60% and a takedown defense of 85%.

Prochazka is the slight favorite to retain his Light Heavyweight title; however, Ulberg looks to be the best betting option. Ulberg has won 9 UFC fights in a row, while Prochazka has won just 3 of his last 5 UFC fights. Further, Ulberg has a much stronger striking volume, and he absorbs fewer strikes. Because of that, backing Ulberg to win and become the new UFC Light Heavyweight champion will be our best bet.

UFC Picks Explained

There are many different types of UFC picks, with countless ways to bet on this weekend’s UFC action. As with most sports, the easiest and simplest form of UFC pick is the Moneyline. A UFC Moneyline pick is a pick on who you think will win the fight, the method is irrelevant, be it TKO/KO, submission, or on the judge’s scorecard, whoever has their arm raised is the Moneyline winner. Other popular UFC Picks include the Method Of Victory and an over/under on the number of rounds the fight will last. Aside from these, there are many other props available ranging from Strikes Landed, Number Of Takedowns, or Will The Fight Go The Distance. Here at Pickswise, our expert UFC handicappers are on hand to find the best UFC Picks for all of this week’s action. Check out our latest UFC Picks above.

UFC Pick Em

A UFC Pick Em can mean one of two things, either the sportsbooks have each fighter with the same odds, a bit like in the NFL, when the spread is 0, or it could mean a contest whereby you have to pick the winner of each fight, in effect the Moneyline winner. Our UFC picks and the insight and analysis in particular that we offer alongside them can be used in both of these circumstances. We offer our experts’ view on the fight including the outcome, including those Moneyline UFC pick-em spots, and also on all of the other top UFC action. With our in-depth previews and picks, you can also use these as the basis for your UFC Pick Em contest too. Whatever you need, Pickswise will have you covered with all things UFC, from the best picks to the latest UFC betting news. We help you to Bet better.

When Are Your UFC Picks Posted

Our UFC Picks are typically posted just after the weigh-ins which usually take place the day before the fight. Waiting until this point allows us to maximize the information we can obtain from the Fight Week clues. One of the UFC’s biggest strengths as an organization and a big proponent of its success is the access in which it gives the media surrounding an event. Both fighters will be made available to the media on fight week and as are the weigh-ins. In both of these instances, you can get both physical and verbal clues as to how the fighter’s camp, weight cut, and preparation have gone over the previous 6-8 weeks. Of course, a fighter isn’t going to give his or her game plan away in its entirety, but even slight clues in their answers, or seeing the shape they are in at the weigh-in can be performance indicators for the weekend. All of this is considered right up until the time we post our picks, as we want to ensure we have all of the available information to make the most informed and best free UFC picks out there.
