Game 1 of the 2026 World Series was entertaining from the first to the last pitch. Milwaukee fended off Tampa Bay for a 3-2 victory behind solid pitching from Jacob Misiorowski and company. Nick Martinez pitched well for the Rays, but now Tampa Bay gets to start their ace in Drew Rasmussen for Game 2. Let’s dive in and discuss my Same Game Parlay for Game 2 of the World Series.

Tampa Bay Rays ML (+106)

First 5 Innings Under 3.5 (-125)

Drew Rasmussen (TBR) Over 17.5 outs recorded (-105)

Tampa Bay Rays vs Milwaukee Brewers Same Game Parlay odds: +425

I will start by saying that this price can be found on Bet365 sportsbook at the time of publishing, and they also have a 50% profit boost on Same Game Parlay’s to tag on. If betting on DraftKings, they have Rasmussen at 16.5 outs recorded. Their non-boosted price for this wager sits at +325 at the time of publishing.

Drew Rasmussen is the key to this parlay, as all 3 components require him to pitch well. I believe there is correlation between him pitching deep into this game and the Rays chances of winning increasing, and this is my preferred way of attacking this game from a SGP perspective. Let's take a look at each individual leg of this parlay below!

Rays vs Brewers Same Game Parlay Pick: Rays ML over Brewers (+106)

Tampa Bay finds themselves as short favorites for Game 2 despite holding the pitching advantage on paper. Drew Rasmussen has been elite on the mound during both the regular season and so far through their playoff run. We will discuss him further eventually in this article. Logan Henderson is starting for the Brewers in Game 2. I am also a big fan of Henderson and the talent his right arm possesses, but Tampa Bay was smart to give Rasmussen an extra day of rest. Not only does it give their ace additional rest, but it avoids using him against Jacob Misiorowski. I believe the Rays have a very good shot at winning Game 2 and would have this game priced closer to pick 'em despite being in Milwaukee.

Rays vs Brewers Same Game Parlay Pick: F5 Under 3.5 (-125)

Game 1 saw only 5 runs scored with 3 of them coming within the first 5 innings of play. I expect another lower scoring affair in Game 2 given the talent level of these pitching staffs. I prefer isolating the first 5 innings of play for this total wager, however, as I am fond of both starting options. Rasmussen has allowed just 3 earned runs in 21 combined postseason innings this year and ended the regular season with a 2.67 ERA. His 3.06 xERA was an 87th percentile mark as well.

Logan Henderson made just 18 regular season starts but posted a 95th percentile xERA of 2.74 in his time on the mound. Henderson has an elite combination of strikeout upside and control of the strike zone. Tampa Bay is a lineup that avoids strikeouts largely, but I still think he can limit the early scoring.

Rays vs Brewers Same Game Parlay Pick: Drew Rasmussen Over 17.5 outs recorded (-105)

Rasmussen is key for this bet, and I expect him to work at least 6 innings in this start. The right-hander has recorded 21, 18, and 24 starts so far through 3 postseason outings, and he cleared this 17.5 mark in 8 of his final 11 regular season outings. Rasmussen has efficiency built into his profile with a 97th percentile walk rate allowed and a 65th percentile ground ball rate generated. He limits hard contact with the best pitchers in the game and Tampa Bay has maximum confidence in his game.

On 5 full days of rest Rasmussen should be recharged and ready for a game in which his team desperately needs to win. This season in 18 starts when pitching on 5 days of rest Rasmussen posted a 2.66 ERA while recording 18 or more outs 12 times. Not that Rasmussen needs any added motivation in a World Series start, but he is also facing his former team and acknowledged that to the media on Friday. I expect a gem from Rasmussen on Saturday.
