Arizona Diamondbacks vs Milwaukee Brewers Prediction, Odds and Picks for Today, 08/27/25

There’s been no shortage of offense in this series. Over the last couple of games, the Brewers have outscored the Diamondbacks 16-13, and both teams will look to keep their offense going in the third game of this 4-game set. Taking the mound for the Diamondbacks will be Ryne Nelson who enters with a 6-3 record and 3.63 ERA. Nelson has not picked up a win since July 19th, and in his last three starts, he’s 0-0 with a 6.11 ERA – not exactly the stat line you want heading into a matchup against a red-hot Brewers team.

For Milwaukee, Quinn Priester will get the start, entering with a 11-2 record and 3.44 ERA. Priester has struggled to find his rhythm early in his starts, struggling early in games and failing to go deep into his starts. Over his last 3 starts, Priester is 0-0 with a 5.79 ERA. This should be an exciting matchup, and I’m going to have to side with the Brewers in this one. Both pitchers have struggled on the mound, however, the Diamondbacks have one of the worst bullpen ERAs in all of baseball, sitting at a 4.77 ERA, and for that reason, I think the Brewers will be able to pull away late and secure an early series win.
