I favor the Arizona Diamondbacks over the Minnesota Twins as they face off on Saturday evening. Arizona is starting Ryne Nelson who has put together a strong 2025 campaign. The right-hander has accrued 137 innings across his first 30 appearances this season, 20 of which have been starts. Nelson has produced a solid 3.48 ERA with a 1.05 WHIP and improved strikeout production. His form is good as well with 4 consecutive quality starts under his belt as he enters this matchup with Arizona.

Joe Ryan is not in as good of form, allowing 5 or more earned runs in 3 of his last 4 trips to the mound. Mixed in that stretch were 7 scoreless frames against the Padres, but this recent span has not been the strongest for Ryan. The right-hander still has a 3.32 ERA on the season and is more than capable of breaking out of his funk but given current form of both starters and the pricing on this game, I side with Arizona.
