Arizona Diamondbacks vs San Francisco Giants Prediction, Odds and Picks for Today, 09/10/25

While not my favorite game to bet on during Wednesday’s loaded MLB slate of action, I do lean towards an Arizona Diamondbacks win as they take on the San Francisco Giants. Eduardo Rodriguez is set to start this game for Arizona, marking his 26th start of the season for Arizona. The veteran southpaw has totaled 131 innings so far with a 5.22 ERA to show for it. Despite relative health, 2025 has not been the season that either Rodriguez or the Diamondbacks had hoped for, but E-Rod has shown improved form in his last 2 starts. The lefty has 12 innings with just 1 earned runs surrendered against Boston and the Dopdgers in his last 2 outings, and he is my preferred starter for this game as a result.

Carson Seymour is set to start this game for the Giants as he makes his 13th appearance and 3rd start of the season. The 26-year-old right-hander is a tall presence on the mound, but he isn’t a big strikeout arm with only 20 punch outs in his 29.2 innings so far. He has walked 12 batters in that sample resulting in a 1.35 WHIP, and Arizona should be able to present him some issues on the bases.
