With this recent hot stretch, the team has pulled within a single game of the Detroit Tigers who are trending in the opposite direction. The result is an extremely entertaining photo finish that will determine the American League Central crown. Not only is the AL Central in a tight race, but the AL West is as well, leaving the possibility that the Tigers could miss the postseason altogether. Joey Cantillo is set to start for the Guardians today as they take on the Minnesota Twins.
