Colorado Rockies vs San Diego Padres Prediction, Odds and Picks for Today, 09/13/25

While pricing is not enticing, I do expect the San Diego Padres to win by multiple runs over the Colorado Rockies when they face off Saturday evening. The Padre offense should have no trouble finding success as they take on Bradley Blalock and the weak Rockies bullpen behind him. Blalock has an 8.62 ERA in his 47 innings this season for the Rockies, and a 12.21 ERA in his first 14 innings during August. This will be his first September appearance and I am not fond of his matchup against a low strikeout rate Padres lineup that is capable of doing damage.

The Padres will turn to Dylan Cease as the right-hander is scheduled for his 30th start of the season. Health has been no concern for Cease in 2025, but his production has not been at his personal best. His 4.71 ERA across 151 innings is not what he would have wanted to see before the season, as efficiency has been a major concern for him. That being said, he has pitched better of late with 9 innings of 3-run ball this month. He faces a weak Rockies lineup in this game and should lead his team to victory.
