The Kansas City Royals and the Seattle Mariners battle in the second game of the series Tuesday night, and we could have some offensive fireworks. RHP Michael Lorenzen takes the ball for the Royals, while RHP Emerson Hancock goes for the Mariners. Lorenzen enters with a 4-8 record, 4.91 ERA and 1.38 WHIP across 88 IP in 16 starts, while Hancock takes the mound with a 3-4 record, 5.60 ERA and 1.42 WHIP. The latter isn’t much of a power pitcher, either, recording just 52 strikeouts across 71 1/3 IP. At home, Hancock has managed a 5.76 ERA with a 1.45 WHIP, serving up six homers in 29 2/3 IP across five starts.

While wind is never a factor at the mostly enclosed T-Mobile Park, the ball could still fly around with these two very giving pitchers.
