Los Angeles Angels vs Colorado Rockies Prediction, Odds and Picks for Today, 09/20/25

I am not rushing to the window to bet on a Coors Field game between Kyle Hendricks and German Marquez, but I do lean towards the over on the game total if forced to make a pick. The only reason I hesitate on the over is the hefty total of 11.5, but neither starting option is set up well for success in this spot today. Hendricks enters play with a 5.01 ERA in his 152.2 innings of work this season, and he enters in poor form after allowing 9 earned runs in 3.1 innings during his last start against the Mariners. Now in Coors Field, I am not excited for Hendricks today.

Marquez is no better, entering this game with a 3-14 record and a 6.73 ERA in his 115 innings this season. He has had several poor outings this season to get where he is today, including struggles in each of his last 5 starts. On July 20 he lasted just 3 innings while allowing 4 walks, 4 hits, and 3 earned runs to the Twins. That was his best start of the bunch as Marquez allowed 24 combined earned runs across his next 16.1 innings, lasting no more than 5 innings in any of those outings.
