Los Angeles Angels vs Seattle Mariners Prediction, Odds and Picks for Today, 09/11/25

The Los Angeles Angels head north to face the Seattle Mariners for the first of a four-game series. The Angels are well out of the postseason picture, but the Mariners are still playing for something. Seattle currently occupies the final wild-card spot in the American League. However, the Angels will be doing their best to play spoiler in the Pacific Northwest in this four-game set, starting with a start from RHP Jose Soriano. He has so-so numbers overall, but the splits paint a different picture. His troubles have been at home, while he is an All-Star like 8-2 with a 2.47 ERA and 1.19 WHIP across 87 1/3 IP in 14 road starts, while teams are hitting 35 points lower against him than in Anaheim.

On the flip side, Seattle’s Bryce Miller has struggled everywhere. He is a dismal 4-5 with a 5.53 ERA and 1.40 WHIP across 70 IP in 14 outings, while going just 2-2 with a 6.88 ERA in his past seven starts across 35 1/3 IP. He has served up six homers at T-Mobile Park in 29 2/3 IP, and he has a 1.45 WHIP with a .257 opponent batting average. The Halos are a strong play as moderate underdogs behind a good road pitcher, while facing a guy who has been extremely shaky. This should be a costly loss for the M’s, and a nice payday for bettors.
