I expect a lower scoring game between the Seattle Mariners and the Los Angeles Angels as they face off Saturday evening. The posted total sits at just 7.5 but I still look towards the under. Bryan Woo is set to start this game for the Mariners as they look to make a final push for the divisional crown. He has been a model of consistency for the Mariners rotation since he entered it in 2023, reaching 6 innings or more in the majority of his outings. Woo is able to win by both efficiency and pure stuff, and when on his game he is among my favorite pitchers to watch work. He should find success in this spot against the Angels.

Mitch Farris is set to start this game for the Angels, marking his 3rd career MLB appearance. His first start resulted in 5 innings of 1-run ball against the Royals before tossing 6 innings of 2-run ball against the Athletics. Seattle is his toughest matchup to date, and Farris did skip the AAA level altogether, but the left-hander has looked sharp so far at the MLB level. While I would like a larger sample size before betting on his team, I do lean towards the under in this matchup.
