New York Yankees vs Baltimore Orioles Prediction, Odds and Picks for Today, 09/19/25

While not my favorite game on Friday’s MLB slate from a betting perspective, I lean towards the under on the posted game total between the New York Yankees and the Baltimore Orioles. Will Warren is set to start this game for the Yankees, and he is the starter I have more concerns about. Warren enters this game with a 4.44 ERA after allowing 6 earned runs in his last outing. Prior to that start, his ERA sat at 4.22, which is a more respectable mark. I expect a relative bounce-back effort from the right-hander in this spot.

Trevor Rogers has a 1.43 ERA and a 0.89 WHIP in his 100.2 innings of work during the 2025 season. Not many could have seen this type of production coming, and it is a shame that this Orioles team is not where it wanted to be with preseason expectations. Rogers is in elite form and clearly pitching as one of the premier southpaw starters in the sport. He draws a tough matchup against a lethal Yankees lineup, but I still lean towards the under in this game.
