San Francisco Giants vs Colorado Rockies Prediction, Odds and Picks for Today, 09/01/25

The San Francisco Giants travel to Coors Field in Denver to take on the Colorado Rockies for the start of a three-game series. The San Francisco offense has been on fire lately, going for 12 or more runs in three of the past five games, while it has won seven of the past eight games since Aug. 23. A trip to Coors Field might be just what the doctor ordered, as the Giants look to desperately stay in the mix for a postseason spot in the National League. The Over is 4-1 in the past five games, and 3-1-1 in the past five games on the road, too.

For the Rockies, they picked up a 6-5 win over the Chicago Cubs on Sunday, avoiding a three-game sweep at home. The Over is 4-2 in the past six games at home, including Sunday’s game, and each of the Over/Unders have been double-digit run totals in the span. To make matters worse for the Rockies, but better for Over bettors, is RHP Chase Dollander getting the start. He is 2-11 with a 6.55 ERA and 1.60 WHIP across 88 IP in 19 starts. He is 0-4 with a 7.18 ERA and 1.82 WHIP in the past seven starts, which is great news for the total going high. Dollander has a dismal 9.88 ERA and 2.02 WHIP in 41 IP in 10 starts at Coors Field. The Giants could crush the Over on their own.
