Mariners vs Twins Pickswise Expert Predictions
The Seattle Mariners and Minnesota Twins will contest the second leg of a 4-game series when they meet again in Minnesota on Tuesday night. Seattle dominated the opener 11-2 on Monday and it should be able to come up with plenty of offense again in this one. Largely due to the way the Mariners are swinging their bats right now, my Mariners vs Twins pick is Over 8.5. Seattle has scored 9, 7, 14 and 11 runs in its last 4 outings. Cal Raleigh is unconscious right now. He has homered in 4 consecutive contests, including 2 this past Friday against the Cubs. That gives him a major league-leading 32 for the season.
Tuesday’s pitching matchup features Seattle’s Luis Castillo against Minnesota’s Chris Paddack. Castillo is obviously a solid pitcher, but his road ERA in 2025 is 4.59 — compared to 2.60 at home. Paddack is 3-6 with a 4.48 ERA and a disappointing 56-to-23 strikeout-to-walk ratio in 80.1 innings of work. Meanwhile, the Twins have crossed the plate at least 6 times in 3 of their last five games–including a 12 spot against the Reds last Thursday. Both clubs should be able to do some damage at the plate on Tuesday, so I’m rolling with the over.
Mariners vs Twins prediction: Over 8.5 (-105) available at time of publishing. Playable to -115.
