St. Louis Cardinals vs San Francisco Giants Prediction, Odds and Picks for Today, 09/24/25
Cardinals vs Giants Pickswise Expert Predictions
The St. Louis Cardinals picked up a 9-8 win in Tuesday’s game against the San Francisco Giants, earning a second straight high-scoring, one-run victory in this series. It was a stunner Tuesday, as RHP Andre Pallante had been absolutely awful lately, and he wasn’t particularly great Tuesday. But, the Cards scratched out the win as huge underdogs +182, all but eliminating the Giants from postseason contention. They’re four games under .500, and still mathematically alive, but they’re going to need to win out, and get a lot of help. Lately, they haven’t been able to help themselves.
The Cards are still very much alive, but just barely, sitting two games under .500, and 3.5 games out of a wild-card spot with four games to go. Even if it wins out, there is no guarantee St. Louis makes the postseason. Trust St. Louis with veteran RHP Sonny Gray on the bump. He is 14-8 with a 4.33 ERA and 1.23 WHIP with 194 strikeouts across 174 2/3 IP. He’ll get the job done, and keep the Cardinals barely breathing.
Cardinals ML (+105) at time of publishing. Playable to -110.
