Tampa Bay Rays vs Toronto Blue Jays Prediction, Odds and Picks for Today, 09/26/25

While I expect the Toronto Blue Jays to grab a win at home over the Tampa Bay Rays Thursday evening, I am not a fan of betting the price attached to that idea. At -185 I don’t see much value on Toronto and instead will pivot towards the game total in this matchup. Shane Bieber is starting today for the Blue Jays, marking his 7th start of the season. In his first stint on a new team, the former Cy Young winner has posted a 3.57 ERA through 35.1 innings of work. He has allowed 6 home runs which is a bit worrisome, but his command has been there, and I expect a solid outing as he closes his regular season out.

Adrian Houser has the tougher matchup on paper in this game, having to face the Toronto Blue Jays lineup, but I expect the veteran right-hander to produce a decent outing today. Houser has tossed 119 innings this season with a 3.18 ERA combined between his time with the White Sox and the Rays. Chicago was able to sign Houser for cheap and flip him at the trade deadline, but he his numbers have regressed since joining his new squad. Still, Houser has tossed back-to-back quality starts against playoff teams, and I lean towards the under on the game total for this matchup.
