All 30 NBA teams are in action on Monday; you really do not want to miss what promises be another thrilling night of basketball. The action begins with the Thunder vs Cavaliers matchup at 7 pm ET on Peacock, while other notable games include Celtics vs Rockets, Trail Blazers vs Nuggets and Heat vs Lakers, tipping off at 10 pm ET.

With so many games on the schedule, there's no shortage of betting opportunities to explore. I've spent a decent chunk of this morning breaking down some of the more interesting games, in hopes of delivering some quality NBA Picks. Let’s break down my three favorite NBA Best Bets for Monday!

NBA Best Bet: Tyrese Maxey to Score 25+ Pts vs Chicago Bulls (-140)

It’s been one hell of a start to the season for Tyrese Maxey, who is enjoying life playing alongside his two new high profile teammates in Jaylen Brown and LeBron James. His speed quickness continue to be unmatched on a nightly basis, he is making the most out of his God given talents and scoring the basketball at will. In 7 starts for Philly he’s averaging 29.6 ppg, which is the 2nd highest number in the NBA right now.

Maxey is yet to have a game with less than 25 points scored, with him logging 37.6 mins per game he will always get enough shot opportunities to be around that number. Monday night sees the Sixers host the Chicago Bulls, the worst defensive team in the NBA. The Bulls allow the 3rd highest percentage of threes, while giving up an average of 129.3 ppg (highest in the league). They love to push the tempo ranking 1st in possessions per game (111), an ideal scenario for Maxey to continue his scoring streak here.

NBA Best Bet: Dylan Harper 2+ Made Threes vs Utah Jazz (+168)

Among the guard heavy roster of the San Antonio Spurs, you could argue Dylan Harper has been the most consistent out of all of them. We’re getting surprisingly high odds for him to knock down a pair of threes against Utah on Monday, something he has done in 3 of his last 4 games. Harper also just had his highest scoring game of the entire season with 25 in the win over Minnesota, a great sign ahead of tonight’s game.

What is also encouraging is the fact that he knocked down two threes in the most recent game against the Jazz, who have really struggled to keep opponents away the perimeter this season. Entering Monday this team allows the 6th highest percentage of opponent threes (37.6%), and the 4th highest against opposing point guards. On top of that the Jazz also rank 25th in points surrendered per game at 118.8, this price is just too good to pass up.

NBA Best Bet: Over 230.5 Points in Trail Blazers vs Nuggets (-115)

Even though they rank 10th and 18th in points allowed per game, neither team has passed the eye test defensively in my book. Denver has already given up 134 and 135 points to Golden State and New Orleans, neither side can be considered elite on the offensive end. Portland has also struggled a bit on that front, allowing 120+ to 3 of their last 4 opponents. At 4-1 SU it’s quite clear that they target to outscore opponents to win games.

The 3 most recent meetings between the two teams saw 269, 240 and 260 points, so I feel quite good backing the over here. Denver’s three-ball is going in at a 43.3% rate over their last 3 games; that’s 2nd only to the Memphis Grizzlies during that stretch. Expect both teams to push the tempo here and let it fly at will from downtown. Take the points.
