ATL Hawks Win(+100)

The loss to the Wizards is the only stain on the week from Atlanta’s perspective. This team is 3-1 SU in their last 4 outings, playing really well despite missing both Porzingis and Trae Young. The big fella is dealing with an illness which caused him to miss the Cleveland game, while Young has been out for a while. Without Trae the team is playing surprising well with a 10-5 SU record, you will see a lot of people online saying that Young should be traded for pieces that can actually help this team.

The 76ers actually have similar issues with Joel Embiid, but it’s hard to trade away a player not a lot of teams would want due to his injury situation. This team is almost used to playing without their superstar center, in 12 games played they’ve gone just 6-6 SU. Tyrese Maxey is doing his best to carry the franchise on his back, but the injuries are slowly piling up and things just aren’t looking great at the moment. Andre Drummond is the latest setback, he’s listed as a game-time decision here with a knee issue, his rebounding is what’s kept the Sixers in games. Rookie sensation VJ Edgecombe is also questionable, Philly might not have enough to keep up with the high flying Hawks here.

Drummond being out really hurts the Sixers here. Unless they get a out of this World performance from Maxey I doubt they can be competitive against a really solid Hawks side. Atlanta has won 5 meetings in a row, they’ve also covered in 4 of those games. I’ll side with the road team here.
